ProsI love the seats and how the car sticks to the road when cornering ConsPeople laugh because it is made by Hyundai.

Love My Tibby! — The car is the 4 cylinder, but I added a cold air intake and it is pretty quick! The build quality is great and nothing is falling apart or breaking down. It is very affordable to own and I get 29-30mpg on the freeway and about 25 on the city streets. Fun car that gets lots of looks. Primary Use: Commuting to work

ProsHandling! I pass cops driving around corners! ConsThey screw up the oil filter specs in the auto shops. The filter listed for the 2004 doesn't fit the 2004, I have to use the filter listed for the 2003.

Pandora — The Tiburon GT handles very well. I own a manual transmission, so the control is significantly better. The acceleration is great, braking is very controlled, and handling is very good. The car rides quite low and wide, so it corners very well. I've had a few passengers comment on the interior appearance, how the dashboard looks like it belongs on an airplane, and that's what it was intended to look like. I like the interior. The car is supposedly tested at getting 19 mpg city/22 mpg highway, but I've never had it that bad. I average between 25 and 28 mpg, mostly highway, and for one rather long trip, the car averaged 30 (!!!) mpg. That's impressive for a sports car in my book.

ProsOver powerful enige that slips gas Consplastic everywhere

Alot Of Go For Little Coin — A bang for the buck. A 2.5 liter four banger with 161hp. enough acceleration to glue you to the seat. Zero tourque steer on the FF platform. Tight track quality handling. Solid build with very unique styling. This eats hondas for breakfast toyotas for lunch and lancers if they havent "evolved"

ProsLooks great and handles well, fun to drive! ConsPoor interior air flow (no a/c or sunroof).

Love My Car! — The handling is great and acceleration is very good for a small engine. Gas mileage is quite good even though I am a bit of a leadfoot. I dislike the fact that there is no air conditioning and it is like a furnace when the sun is shining. Also, because the back windows don't open, the air flow is very poor. I love my car because i love driving it anywhere!

ProsI like how the car has held up for me over six years. It is a fun ride and makes a lot of noise. ConsI wish Hyundai would of made these cars rear wheel drive. Plus it needs a six gear, five are fine but its runs at some high rpms.

Its A Good Overall — Performance- My car has had some work done to it. A staged two clutch with a lighter flywheel, cold air intake, header, and exhaust. The car gets great gas mileage, Im over 178,000 miles and still getting over 33 mpg. Maintenance on the car is great, all the parts are to remove and get to. Most of the bolts are 10 mm, so it makes live easier. When I replaced all the coolant hoses, the dealer had them is stock and was cheaper then auto stores. Primary Use: Commuting to work

Prosfun to drive, good mpg, pretty quick, looks good Consaftermarket support kinda sucks, basic interior, to much plastic

Good Stuff — great car for the money, powerband is awsome, handles well, just a little to basic for my taste. and the aftermarket support isent all that great, mostly just stupid body kits and whatnot. mechanically i havent had any problems, i would deffinatly suggest one. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

7500.00 — love this car fun and fast just 1 minor problem i need to get checked out. The six speed is a blast and the v6 has enough power to play around with very tight in the corners and good acceleration. lots of leg room leather interior and exhaust sounds great Primary Use: Commuting to work |
