ProsNice interior, reliable, comfy. Fairly large gas tank; I get from 350-400 miles per tank. ConsHandling and acceleration.

It Works, It's Dependable. — Have had this car since 2003 or 2004. It's been reliable the whole time. It drives like a truck and the acceleration is mediocre until it builds up some revs, but otherwise it's a decent car. And you can't beat the warranty, which I haven't had to use for anything major.

I Love It Better Then The Ford That I Had Before We Traded In On This Car. — The windows. Even though the pigs keep looking at me once I pass them. Ha Ha I've never had gotten a ticket for the windows. Kiss my butt cops. You'll never get me to take it off. Ok. It's low to the ground which is ok, but I'd like it a little bit higher, and more head room inside. Primary Use: Family transportation | ||

My Sonata — started having mechanical problems every time i fill up the gas andgo back to start the engine it wont start unless i crank it and press on the gas pedal at the same time then quickly put into drive so it wont die again. i had to put in a new transmission after a year of owning the car. | ||

You Know You Want This!! — My Sonata is a great reliable car. It looks great, and handles awsome. I mean its not a truck but it will do for now. It has more than enought speed to keep me happy for now. I love my car and wouldnt trade it for any other CAR out there..give me a truck and you got a deal lol. | ||

Scott's 2nd New Car — He traded up for this car with the Tiburon and it had a much better feel and fit to it. I enjoyed driving this car so much that we eventually traded and I drove it and he drove the mini-van. It had a lot of recall issues though and even though it was under warranty it had a lot of things go wrong with it to the point that it would barely start. | ||

ProsI love my car because it looks like a Mercedes and has custom sub-woofer speakers so I can play my rap as loud as I need to hear the bass. The bass in my car rattles the back seats and all of my mirrors. ConsI don't hate anything about it. =)

Drives Like A Mercedes — The acceleration is awesome, it has quite a kick when getting up to speed and growls a bit as well. Not like a beast, but like it has actual balls without being a muscle car or fancy sports car. The only repairs I've done so far is switching out the headlights, first the right went out then the left. The Appearance looks very nice. The 04' Hyundai Sonata closely resembles the 2005 Mercedes Class E as well as the Jaguar S Type since the Sonata was designed and modeled after these two luxurious cars. This car is fun to drive. I like drifting it around highway exit ramp loops and drag-racing at the stoplights. Definitely a fun and easy to handle car. Primary Use: Commuting to work |
