Great American Built Vehicle — Great American built vehicle, plenty of cargo space in the bed, and rides comfortably from home to work every day. The only con is the average MPG at 20 HWY. This was my first Ford and first truck and it was a WIN-WIN on both counts!

Outstanding — Great Family tow vehicle. Great for long trips with the family cross country. My kids and dog love it for our annual long distance travels out of state. Never any issues with maintenance except for oil changes, brakes, and tire replacement when worn. Great towing capacity, and I read the newer models have even a great capacity! Love the 30 gallon gas capacity.

Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

Great Truck. — This is a good running truck and can do what I need it to do. Great truck for family of 4 to pull camper and be comfortable on long trips. Maintenance is not to expensive either if well maintained and taken care of.

F150 — The truck is a great truck when you need to pull or workig in an area where you need to use your 4 wheel drive. But when it comes to driving it on the highway or to use as a DD it will drink your money on gas. Other than gas mileage the truck overall is great.

Great Truck! — I use this truck as a daily driver which is a comfortable drive for school and work. It always gets me from point A to B with no problems. But when it comes to power, the engine is very sluggish and automatic transmission is mediocre. I do more hauling than towing and the engine gets the job done but you can hear it struggle in some environments. The transmission seems to be good for only towing and hauling because it revs up high during normal commute. The only other negative I would have about this truck is that the front number has a small gap where it looks like the bracket for the bumper can't hold its weight and dips a little. The truck is comfortable to drive and is very customizable which I love because I can make it fit to my liking unlike other vehicles. Overall I would have to give this truck a 7/10.

Pros

I traded a 2003  F-150 for one of the first new body F-150's to hit So Fla.. I put a flush cap on it as soon as they became available.  My "Black Beauty" gove raves an comments for the next 8 years.  I never regretted the purchase for one second.  My wife referred to it as our LEXIS RV tow vehicle.

Cons

The brakes went ot at 38K, I thought that a bit early.  The passenger window motor had to be replaced three times, twice under warrant.

Ford Hit A Home Run — I was an RV rental dealer at the time. I towed up to 12,500 without a wimper from this great truck.Ford builds great trucks. Buy the best, buy a FORD! Ford Tough — I love this truck Ford really did a great job building this truck. You can't tell your hauling anything when you are. Tough reliable and comfy when not on crappy roadways and great off road also driving on ice from ice storm.

If A Truck Is What You Want Its A Excellent Truck — What I liked about my ford f150 2004 4x4 new body style was the look of the truck. The ride of the truck pretty smooth for a 4x4.The only bad thing is not much room inside of truck, extended cab would be more room a little more comfortable.

Good Vehicle — use heavy duty brakes but good heavy duty truck with lots of space with the crew cab. powerful truck and pretty ok gas mileage for a truck this size. still pushes a lot of power for barely over 100k miles and has a good ride even with custom rims

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)
