Pros

Powerful, roomy, easy to drive, mileage of diesel, has an entertainment system, etc.

Cons

Big, acceleration isn't anything like a small car (although it WILL burn rubber) and it doesn't drive like a BMW... but that's just a personal thing.

Use It To Pull The Horse Trailer Up The Canyon. — What a BEAST. Interior is typical Ford stuff, nice and roomy, leg room is much more than a suburban. We have the Turbodiesel so it gets better mileage than the gas and has some serious power under the hood.

Pros

The biggest and safest family vehicle on the road in any kind of weather. You can fill it and there is always room for more. This truck is a beautiful color combo. Seats are amazingly comfortable, like riding in your living room. You sit up high and can see the world clearly. Great on long trips. Diesel engine will last forever. It's an awesome truck!

Cons

It's a diesel and with that comes noise, not  a lot but louder than the gas version, I've owned both. It rides like a truck because it is a truck. Gas mileage averages about 15mpg but it has a 44 gal fuel tank, so you can go for a long time on a tank of gas.

I Love This Truck! — This truck is awesome for driving the family, haulin stuff or just enjoying riding around. It's sturdy, safe and always gets the looks. Has not been used to tow anything. Mostly carried my kid's gym equipment like hoops, balls, games and an occasional moonbounce. That's it. Bought this truck at 45,000 miles (my 2nd Excursion) and it's been a great truck to own.
