Pros

Strong engine that has a very smooth power delivery. No turbo lag. interior is very comfortable  with lots of room. The seats can be rearranged, including taking them out altogether, to handle vast amounts of cargo. Excellent stereo system with satellite radio already wired in the car.

Cons

Fuel economy would be the only complaint I can make about this car. I primarily use my PT Cruiser GT for my daily commute back and forth to work. The car regularly returns about 25mpg in this role. For highway trips, the Cruiser usually manages just under 30mpg.

Pt Cruiser Gt Is A Fantastic Jack Of All Trades — I purchased this PT Cruiser GT new back in 2004 and it has been an outstanding vehicle for these last ten years. The PT Cruier GT was initially purchased primarily to be a family car, yet with good looks, power, and lots of bells and whistles. Since then, the GT has changed job descriptions for us and never came up short. A grand tourer for family vacations, grocery getter, bringing home the 55" flat screen TV, hauling lawn and garden materials from the DIY store, etc. I eventually became the primary driver of this Cruiser, using it for my daily commutes back and forth to work. The turbocharged engine easily gets the car up to speed from offramps and merging lanes and the ride is very smooth with just the right amount of firmness. Bad weather has been no problem, either. In addition to ABS brakes, the PT Cruiser has a low speed traction control feature that has helped with snowy roads from this past winter. The car is superbly well planted and the front wheel drive pulls the car through the snow and ice without any drama. This PT Cruiser has been a wonderfully dependable vehicle and should be considered as one of Chrysler's greatest offerings of all times. For the money, you will be hard pressed to find a better car.

Good For Daily Driver — the car inside is loud and shakes but easily drowned out by music gas millage is terrible. It is a slow car with out the turbo. It also has bad wheal balance. however is somewhat fun to whip around corners.

It Is The Bane Of My Existence...at Least It Seems To Be Every Six Months. — I seriously used to love the idea of this car. It looked cool, loved the color, and it would run well. That NEVER LASTS LONG THOUGH! It's supposedly an American car that was for some reason discreetly made in a Mexican Chrysler factory so there's nothing about the car that is made to last. I drive this car less than two miles a day and it STILL manages to break down significantly every 6 months. If it's not the tires or the actual wheel s completely exploding or fracturing and needing to be replaced because I ran over a pothole, or the crappy turbo completely blows up, it's something stupid like an electrical sensor shorting out and costing $300 to replace each time. Nothing about this engine is easy to access either. You wanna change the spark plugs, you are gonna have to remove a hell of a lot of things from the engine first before that's gonna happen. And any after market car repair manuals on this vehicle will be completely vague with very bad maps and illustrations. CHRYSLER did not deserve to be bailed out just for this car alone!

The Best Car I Have Ever Owned! — I got my Cruiser in 2004 as a high school graduation present. Before that I had other cars from popular brands amongst teenagers but they never really did anything from me. Those cars tended to be less stylish and on two of them I had terrible experiences with because of their reliability issues (which was funny because I had gotten those cars because of their reliability records). The cruiser has far exceeded all my expectations, I absolutely love it and dont care what people think.

Pt Cruiser: Practical And Comfortable — During the 5 years I've owned my PT Cruiser, overall I've been very satisfied. It's been a reliable vehicle that gets relatively good gas mileage, particularly on the highway, and I've enjoyed driving it. Although it doesn't have a tight turning ratio it handles well and I feel comfortable behind the wheel. The brakes have needed repair once, and there was a problem with the engine cutting out while idling that was repaired. Strangely -- and I gather this isn't uncommon with PT Cruisers -- it also developed the problem of its headlights turning on spontaneously during the day. To avoid costly repairs, I followed some advice found on the web and removed the fuse for the fog lights, which corrected the problem. Its best feature is its amazing amount of cargo space. The rear seats can fold down flat or even be removed entirely. My husband thinks it looks a little like a "grandpa car," but I've been happy with it.

Can Accellerate Quick And Do Corners — The PT Cruiser's Quality is quite good it good on performance it can accelerate quick and turn corners like nothing, it's cost was about $15,000. It is a fun car to drive I'd give it a 7 out of 10 for fun! Decent car!
