Pros

For a truck (frame) based Mid-Sized SUV, it's one of the best!

Cons

Bigger engine (small V8 perhaps) would improve it no end

Safe, Solid Family Transport With Great Load Capacity! — performance: acceleration is average, a little on the slow side when loaded up or towing (6 cylinders will do that tho'). Handling: can be a bit trick on off ramps and sweeping turns when it's slick or icy out...even in AWD or 4 HI....the rear wants to push itself around, which can catch you out quite quickly if you're not prepared for it. Build Quaility: Typical "American" fit and finish...Lots of brittle plastic, in unappealing shades of Grey, Charcoal and some othe Blackish-Grey colour I've seen nowhere else but in GM products! Overall tho', fairly durable considering 2 boys and a dog use it as a mobile playground at times! Cost of Ownership: gas mileage is good for a vehicle this size and weight with an underpowered engine! Four adults with luggage Toronto to Ottawa on about 2/3rds of a tank (albeit a BIG tank!) Fun Factor: It's not a Jeep or a Hummer....hard mud-bogging or offroading is out of the question; but far more capable than most Urban SUV's , or "Chelsea Tractors" as their know in the UK, once you get it into a spot of "Trouble"

Primary Use: Family transportation

Good Vehicle — It's my daily driver and man, can it tow. While towing a 5000 pound trailer up Vail and Loveland pass in colorado (+11000 feet), it was able to easily pass comparable vehicles with trailers. It's very comfortable on long trips and gets reasonable fuel milage for a 5500 pound vehilce it's size on the highway when not towing, `19 mpg. Doesn't have the fun-to-drive factor of my 1993 S10 Blazer LT thoough.

Gotta Love Those Heated Leather Seats! — It has lots of good aspects to it. Fold down 3rd row seating, leather interior, cleans up well, even Labrador hair comes off it!
