2004 Chevrolet Cavalier LS Review
ProsReliable, Good Gas mileage, handles suprisingly well ConsThe top of the dash is prone to crack on the right side and rattle

It's A Nice Little Ride — 35 mpg!. only thing I've ever repaired was a sensor that caused the traction control light to stay on for 35$. it has over 80,000 miles on it. Penty of get up and go. Handles great. I've read where some say the interior styling is outdated, but things become outdated so fast now a days it's impossible to keep up. If you buy a brand new car just wait a year or two. The top of the dash is prone to cracking, I went to a reck yard to see if I could get a replacement piece for it and out of the Dozen or so that were there, they were all cracked. Good Car For College/work Commuters. — I'm very happy with my car although it is not top notch I must say it feels good to write a check for a brand new car, and it served the purpose I bought it for very well. I used this car for commuting back and forth to college, and I must say the gas mileage was a nice asset. Performance: Its not a race car, noone ever said it was. Simply put it serves its purpose well. Build Quality: Although it has a bargain price tag the build quality is fairly average with other vehicles. Appearance: Unlike the older model cavi's the 04 sported a more modern streamlined look which fits in better with other vehicles on the road today. All in all it isn't a bad look, doesn't exactly stand out in the crowd, but again caviliers aren't bought for their stunning looks and lavish options. Cost of Ownership: This is where the cavi takes the cake. Tires are cheap gas is cheap, and thus far no other maintenance costs have seemed to pop up. Fun Factor: Never met a car I couldn't have fun in so I must say yes to this one. If you love driving you can make any car fun in my opinion. Primary Use: Commuting to work

Great Car For The Price — Great car for the price but its lacking in quality and the automatic tranny just cant handle any serious shifting, had to replace the suspension and wheel bearings multiple times but its a fun little car to drive if your looking for a cheap runabout

I Love It... — Good first car, I like it its a four cyl so it doesn't have alot of power... it has a few problems and is missing a few minor pieces and some things were broken, like the air vents, some of the plastic nuts that hold the hubcaps on... mine doesnt have auto windows or door locks... but overall a great car... Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)
