The Ultimate Driving Machine... The E60 5 Series Sedan — As one of the most powerful 5 series ever made, this BMW E60 comes with a 4.4 liter V8 engine that produces 325hp/330tq, seats 5 full sized adults, and can haul ass and overtake any fixed up wannabe's. Comfort, styling, and interior room are high points of this car; of course, since it is a V8 the gas mileage suffers unless you go lightly on the gas pedal (but every BMW begs to be driving hard, and this one is no exception). Overall it is a great tourer and a family sedan that has the character!

Bang For The Buck! — Bang for the buck in the used car market is unparralled. 30mpg, current body style, $50k new $20k now, BMW knows how to build an inline six, feels like much more than 190hp, ZF 6speed is always in the powerband. Excellent handling, braking and road manners.

The Best Out Of This Class, But Needs A Bigger Engine. — Interior is one of the most greatest I have ever been, everything is rock solid, and "half-leather" interior is stunning. Only problem is that I can't really relax and enjoy it, because I'm always making sure, that interior isn't getting messy. Exterior is known about its quite different style and it's splitting peoples opinions. I think it looks gorgeous but still very agressive and elegant. But, it isn't that good from every angle. There are few angles where from I don't like to see it. Believe me, it's not that pretty, looks something like a sandwich. Handling isn't anything new, the feel is really nice and sharp, but when you deactivate DSC, the fun begins. Sport chassis stiffens it up nicely and it's not too hard on this kind of vehicle. Back end of the exhaustion has been changed to alternative from Remus and it sounds nice and low. I have to admit that I have pulled about ~400m drifting from corner to corner in closed area, on a bit chilly, not icy road. It's so easy to keep in good angle and it gives just right amount of power to kick more out of it. But hey, more power is always needed and that's what this also needs. Overall impression is maybe the best car I have driven since now, but there's more yet to come. Just blowed front tyre from it and it's now standing on a donut, because there's no wheelshop open before christmas. Thank god, RPA warned me and pulled on side of the road. So no damage to the car or rim, only tyre got punctured. This didn't happen when I blowed tyre from our Renault Megane, I didn't realise it before it was empty.

Great Car — One of the best cars I've owned, reliable, comfortable, sporty and easy to find information and parts. Car has great acceleration and rockets up to 100mph. Ride is incredibly smooth and quiet at all speeds, and brakes well. Styling is very appealing and still gets compliments after 10 years.

Very Good Car And No Major Problems — I liked everything about this car. The only downside for me was how ofter I had to replace the rear tires and the maintenance cost when I needed to take in the car for routine maintenance. The gas mileage is good for the amount of power.

Good Car, Great Drive. — Love the handling, the power, the style and the overall value of the car. The brakes are the best of the best. After warranty is up, maintenance can get a little pricey vs the market value of the car. The back seat leg room is not ideal for long trip but workable

Love To Drive It. My Own Ultimate Driving Machine — Bought is used in Nov. of 2011 - had 79,000 mile - $13,599 (With sports package). I had to travel 200 miles to get it but it was worth the trip. The only major work to be done was on the brakes...Engine is solid with NO leaks. Appearance - I love the E60 body style. Accelartion is more than adequate for daily driving. Handles great and brakes are great. Average 30MPG on the highway and about 22MPG in town.

Great First Bimmer For Me :-) — Solid all around car, above average in all categories, not a top performer in any category. Solid build quality and lasting too. The M-Tech body kit definite improvement over stock. Just fun enough to compliment it's sedan platform, almost as if it has dual personalities.
