Great Car With A Few Glitches. — Love the car. Hate repairing it. I have electrical problems and I had a previous owner treat her badly (few oil changes) other than that, I love the car. AWD is tremendous. I would recommend this car to anyone who will take care of it. No car killers. Primary Use: Commuting to work

Best Choice For Most... — Best Choice for most... Safe and reliable. Comfort that is hard to beat, a real looker too. Don;t be fooled by spotty reviews this car is much better then the average grocery getter. Doesn't retain its value very well, advantage to the used car buyer. Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

ProsComfort, Performance, and Safety ConsScheduled Maintenance Cost, Gas Mileage, Insurance.

Fun Family Hauler — The seats are the most comfortable I have sat in. The car is big (to haul kids) but still has good performance with fast acceleration and good passing ability. It corners well but I upgrades the tires to Yokohama YK420s. The car looks good. Oh, and safe, safe, safe.

ProsSolid, reliable good loading space ConsPerformance unless u get T5 or above

Solid Swedish Stationwagon — Good loading, quite nice lookin both inside and outside. For Performance get the T5 or R series, otherwise its a quite plain car to drive, but on the other hand this is a family car thats famous for reliability and the possibility to load

Great Family Car. — Our 2003 Volvo V70 is a great looking car thar has held up extremely well over the years. It is still tight - no rattles, creaks, noises, etc. We find it very comfortable for long family trips to our vacation home in Canada. It averages 30 mpg at highway speeds. Primary Use: Family transportation

ProsOverall performance, reliability, comfort etc ConsTURNING CIRCLE!

If You Want A Diesel Estate, Consider This, Don't Be Put Off By The Volvo Badge! — For a Diesel powered estate car (with an automitic gearbox), the performance is phenominal, handling is great, turning circle is embarassing in car parks! Now has 128000 miles behind it, no squeaks/rattles worth mentioning, does about 35MPG locally, over 40MPG on a decent length journey. Heated seats are great in winter!
