Fun to drive

Cons

Had problems with window

Good — It has been a good car overall. I have owned it for about 4 years and not have had any mechanical problems. But I have had problems with the window clips that hold the windows in place, i had to replace the plastic ones with metal ones after they broke from the cold. I have also had a small leak I had to fix that was coming in from the the skylight drain. I had to fix it by running another tube down the existing one and make a new drain collar. Everything else has worked great and it is a fun car to drive.

Pros

good price

Cons

expensive parts

Money Money Money — cheaper than the tracter version. not much room in the back for kids seats so their boots are all over the back of hte seats. There arew usually electrical problems with these jettas but so far so good with this one.

Pros

Its awesome all around

Cons

Plastic under-bumpers

25

Dope! — My Vw Jetta is absolutely sick no questions. The handling is great, the power in that 1.8 litre Turbo is surprising, and the transmission is very smooth. The Jetta is one of the sleekest looking cars out there, when its kept in good shape. The black plastic bumpers are my only complaint as they folded like paper when i scraped a curb. idk what else to say. drive one and decide for yourself.

Pros

quality built and good on gas

Cons

needs more rear seat room

25

Quality — all around awesome vehicle but next time I would buy the wagon. The performance is top notch. Expensive for the oil changes but worth it in the long run. I have never owned a better built car than this one.

Cons

rough ride for every day driving, oil changes are expensive

25

Jetta — Its really fun to drive, its fast it handles well, great stereo, just a few kinks about it that you have to get used to, like certain times it makes weird noises but its usually nothing. definitely worth the money

Pros

Kinda fun family car

Cons

understeer, body roll, acceleration, handling...f

Jetta 1.8t — Its a kid carrier, can't expect too much performance. Understeers like a mo-fo, but when the intercooler isn't heat soaked, the acceleration is, at best, decent. However for a family sedan as it should, function comes before performance. Overall not a bad car, but bone stock, not the funnest thing to drive.

Pros

Wicked fast when turbo kicks in.

Cons

Turbo drains the gas tank...

Good Car... Not Great, But Not Bad, Either. — Turbo is nice, but I'd prefer a bigger engine. Decent handling but a poor turn radius. Brakes are always making noises and the mileage could be better, but in the end it's a very sturdy, dependable little car. In the future I will likely stick with VW but upgrade models.
