Middle Of The Road, The Newer One Should Be Much More Likeable. — Performance of this car is ok, the transmission does not make the most of the power and you feel disconnected from the road. The brake pedal has about 4 inches of travel before the brakes actually bite, and the steering is wobbly. The car i drove was in an accident and after being repaired very well, the car was never the same whenever i would get into it. The steering wheel squeaks, there is a high speed shake in the steering, and it seems that these cars are built very well but once in an accident, start to deteriorate quite quickly. Also it has the most boring and gray interior of any car, yes the materials atre fit together well but there is a very cheap feel to the car. Lastly, it is very difficult to udge where the backend is because the trunk lid is so high, so its not good for going in reverse.

Would Buy Again — Great car. Looks nice, ran great and got 34mpg. Peppy for a 4cyl. Wished I hadn't traded it for that piece of junk ford explorer. Never had to do anything to it.

Cons

Best Car I've Owned. Can't Complain. — Finally had the $$ to get something more decent. still not my dream car but hey, you can't lose with a camry. the car is roomy. handles great. i got it with 59k miles on it and sun roof and 6-disc changer. when it idles you can barely feel the engine's on. i would have loved it if it was a stick shift. oh well. i'll wait!

Cons

so cozy its boring.

Reliable And Good Looking — I once owned this car. It was given to me by my grandmother who passed away. I loved the car and to this day I wish I never sold it. I put almost 50,000 miles on it and never spent more then $20 at a time on it (for oil changes). In total the cars maitenence never exceeded $500. Such a reliable car that was comfortable and easy to drive.

An All-round Good Car. — The SE V-6 is part luxery, part performance, part family. This car gets pretty good fuel mileage and rides real nice but has the performance and handling any good sports car should have.

33 Mpg Highway, quiiet, great Car,always Buy The Toyota Care Extended Warranty It Pays Off — Plenty of power in the 4 cyl. 157 HP.Only one thing odd about it but I have never bothered to have it checked. It' delays a while in 3rd gear before changing to 4th gear (overdrive) in colder weather. After the first delay it does change better each time and has not been a big problem.I think the Japense model is a little better than the American made one.I guess because I owned a 1988 Toyota Coralla GTS Hatchback 112 hp for 18 years and put 214,000 miles on it.In all that time I had to do a couple simple repairs other than normal maintenance.Best car I will ever own.It was Red and I had to get there shortly after it was put on the lot.A boy and girl were dying to get it.For 12,200 it was mine.Back to the Camry overall a great vehicle.Great ride, comfort, brakes, handling.Great car.
