ProsGood, cheap little frst car ConsSpeed, Looks

Skoda Fabia '03 Review — This car is generally a good little nippy first car despite the name skoda when youre a lot younger than the usual people you see driving them. The car is good wit speeds off the mark from 0-30, however when trying to takeover other vehicles from 30+ it tends to drag and lacks the power. The fabia is good ot handle in dry and also in wet with the right tyres. However in winter avoid driving in this car altogether! The car is good for petrol, does a lot of miles for the gallon and so less need to fill up. The car looks sleeker in black and the best! however for those wit an eye for a good looking car the skoda fabia is not the one to choose! The interior is rather neat and tidy but quite boring for those who like gadgetry! The fabia is rather spacious inside and has a rather generous boot size also. |

ProsFantastic hot hatch, great performance whilst offering brilliant economy ConsYou are old fashioned and have not come to terms with Skoda's recent success

Best Hot Hatch Of Its Era, Fantastic Car — VRS diesel - Superb all rounder, great performance whilst offering brilliant economy (55 mpg and climbing) without trying. An absolute joy to drive, comfortable, looks quite mean, VW based so well manufactured. Best hot hatch of its era for my money. Primary Use: Commuting to work |

ProsPerformance ConsImage

Practical — Compact estate with an excellent engine - performance and economy Lacks street cred, looks better with roof rails so I need to retro-fit these A bit noisy at lower speeds but cruises quietly enough Reliable, cheaper than polo (which doesn't come in small estate form any way) Primary Use: Commuting to work |

Proseconimical and nippy2 and good room inside for a super mini Consnot fast or trendy

Decent Alround Small Family Mover At Reasonable Budgets — not bad performance from this little run about well balanced perhaps by accident small 3 cylinder of 1.2 liters in the combi or estate version made it handle well into the corners not going to beat much in the straight line build quality good with VW parts looked OK nothing to write home about but better than the new version very economical in 90000 miles just cost me 6 tyres and a timing belt above normal service and fuel costs easy on juice Primary Use: Family transportation |

ProsDiesel economy, Petrol pace! ConsErm... Black was a bad colour choice?!

Fabia Vrs — A diesel that whooped VTS's and RS Turbo's has to be given respect. Standard 130bhp, but with a P-BOX added it shelled out 162bhp, with torque that was officially Porsche Boxster beating (for real!). All this with a combined of 50mpg sums up a classic Pocket Rocket!! Interior was very race orientated with bucket style seats as standard, trimmed with tasteful black and grey upholstery. Great car, Great price. |
