Prosits not bad looking for a minivanhas good power, and has been very reliable., ConsI like big snarling V8s, so its a good 6 banger but I like to lay rubber

A Good Grocery Getting Multi Purpose Unit For The Family — This is my 2nd Montana. I had a 99 ( still have for parts) and now the 03. It has been quite reliable like the previous model. They have similar issues, wipers are clunky, bottom rails rot out fast, and headlights get moisture in them. i like the versatility and its not bad on gas. It has been a good vehicle for my many needs and many miles. I took it on vacation. drove 5000 km and no issues. Filled wholes in rocker panels and its all good. Still like my van. ProsGreat space for family. Comfortable for long trips. ConsRear lights are shorting causing the plastic on the bulbs at the contacts to melt on both driver & passenger side. Have to replace bulbs after a few weeks.

I Love My Shuttlebus!! — My van is my work horse. It carts my kids, my sister and mother and nieces, groceries, furniture, electronics, items for work, stuff for the baby.....LOTS of stuff for the baby!! It's perfect for the drive-in; my hubby and I just take out the back seats for us to sit, lay blankets and pillows down for the kids and we are all as comfy as can be! I love how the seats just fold up for extra space instead of having to yank them right out. I have often thought of getting something that is a little better on gas and a little newer....but then I look at old Betsy there in the driveway with the hole in the rocker panel (even though I get it sprayed before our Canadian winter)....but otherwise in perfect condition......and think, "how can I get rid of her? She perfect for me right now." Perhaps when the baby gets a bit older I'll take a look at a Dodge Journey but the baby is still under a year so until then......we'll just keep on loving our Montana EXT. ProsGood mileage, decent handling Conslight bulb longevity( but that's more the bulbs themselves)

A Good Buy — Overall a nice vehicle - like the pick-up when I mash the pedal Radio - like the sound I'm getting from the factory set-up as well as the info screen for the stations. Gripes - the bulb design for tail lights - the plastic bases on the bulbs can't take the prolonged heat from the contacts and they melt after a few months - I've replaced 6 bus this year for the brake lights. Good Long Trip Vehicle — Verry comfortable vehicle for long trips, has a DVD player for the back seat passengers, with wireless headphones to hear the movie or listin to a cd, or different station on the radio, seats can adjust so you get the most comfortable position, and overall very good vehicle. Not the fastest or niceest vehicle on the road, but if you are looking for a vehicle for long trips, this is the one. Primary Use: Family transportation

Pontiac Montana — It's a nice van! Smooth to drive. Lots of room for the family. It's two toned color make it attractive. It has a DVD player that great for family trips. Dual power sliding doors are very convenient too. It even has heated seats! And the gas milelage is good for a van!
