Mrs — I would really love this vehicle except some of the mechanical issues. I've had the outlets not work, the fog lights go out, cruise control working off and on, the key stuck in the ignition (broken wire in center console), and it goes through head lights like water.

It's Nicer Then It Looks — I have mixed feelings about our Aztek. When we first bought it, I thought it was U-G-L-Y! But the room in it more then made up for it. It has grown on me, I love to drive it and it handles very well and is great for the long road trips to "grandma's house". The performance has been quite good, it handles well, even on snow and ice. Gas milege is decent, about what you would get from any SUV and maintenance has been pretty low except for normal wear and tear. I would absolutely recommend this car to a friend, especially friends that like to travel like my family does.

Pros

I bought my 03 Aztek new and it has been the best car I have ever owned. Great mileage, comfortable for long trips and short hauls. Stereo still puts out powerful sounds, wish GM( Pontiac) still made them, I think my son would buy one. Both of my kids learned to drive in it (the only scratches and dents it has). It really is a great car!

Cons

it looks a bit different than other cars, split rear window with spoiler in the middle.(strange enough import cars are using this now)

Bring It Back, I Want A New One. — mileage, space, sounds, comfort, durability. When these came out nobody I knew wanted one, probably why I tried one. I fell for it after the first test drive. It had pick up from the first stop sign, great sound from the radio, comfortable seats, variable seating arrangements with the removable rear seats.Great for long range touring. I also liked sitting on the "Seats" made into the tailgate and having the ability to control the radio from the back.

Aztek — I got mine with 156,000 miles on it and the only problem I have had with it is a bad fuel injector in cylinder 3. Mine is silver and has a sunroof. For a 3.4 L v-6 with 185 horse, it has some pretty good get up. Mine now has 170,000 miles on it and (knock on wood) is still running good. No real complaints except for the low visibility out the back window.

Pros

Medium-sized car with larger car cargo space - removeable rear seats really add to cargo capacity.  Always comfortable.

Cons

Not the most attractive looking car (I like it, but some people don't)

Aztek Is A Great Vehicle When You Can Find One. — I saved a lot of money on maintenance - regular oil changes, service and keeping the car clean has made ownership more pleasant and a lot more fun. I am only selling this because we have another grandchild on the way.

Pros

Looks, features & styling.  New tires, rebuilt engine w/ less than 1000 miles. Loaded w/ power sun/moon roof, Pioneer Premium Sound, CD, power windows, door locks, cruise, cold air, etc...

Cons

A couple of dents, hey it's a 2003.  Lights inside radio don't work, so you can't tell what station you are on.

Clean, Reliable, Suv Transportation — In the beginning, I wasn't really keen on the appearance of the Aztek. Looks wierd. After driving the car around for a couple of weeks, this SUV has really grown on me and all my co-workers. Everyones comments are about the same, not impressed at first sight, but driving and riding, proves everyone to be very impressed after all.

It Is A Vehicle That Has Good Gas Mileage And Serves As A Good Light Off-road Vehicle — I have added black rock crawler rims and 32in. BFG Mudd Terrain tires, I have also added a light rack and snowboard rack on the roof, it has a bull bar 2 fog lights and a 6,000lb winch up front. It also has a big sound system.
