ProsIts a comfy and smooth ride that get pretty good gas milage for a SUV ConsIt doesnt have a third row seats. will not fit 3 car seats.

One Nice Ride — the car was originaly my wifes. we had some kids and it became my car, at first I wasnt a fan of mitsubishi. Honestly, the more i drove it I relized how lucky i was to have it. Not a gas guzzler and spaceouse enough for a family of 4. Only in the shop for routine maintenance. and goes great in the snow Primary Use: Commuting to work

Good Car For People Living A Bit From The Road And Has To Get To Work In Any Weather — Heavy lumbering beast, however reliable. It has been a great outdoors companion. All the time i have owned it it has performed without any problems at all, the gearbox is outstanding and the low rpm engine fantastic. in short great for the outdoors but not an suv, a terrain car Primary Use: Family transportation | ||

ProsGreat multi-purpose truck: daily driver, family vacations, off-road, snow, trips to Home Depot / Lowe's, etc. Took everything I could throw at her and she treated me well. ConsGas mileage wasn't great. The 3.5 may have been better on that than the 3.0. Not many after-market kits, but a solid truck even when stock.

2003 Monstero — I owned my Mitsubishi Monstero Sport (intentional spelling mistake) for ~10 years. We bought it new from CarMax, when the Dulles CarMax still sold new Mitsubishi cars / SUVs. Until recently, I never had to pay much for upkeep. After about the 9 year / 125,000 mark, that's when the repair bills started to mount. But, for the first 9 years, that truck was GREAT! I kept up with my friend's lifted Jeep that rode on 33s through NC mud. Aside from the 2' Snowmaggedon monster drifts, the Monstero went through snow w/o a problem, up to ~8 - 9". Excellent daily driver, family car, long-trips, etc. I used it like a truck, too; filling the back with whatever I could from Home Depot / Lowe's or strapping 4x8 sheets of plywood to the roof rack. It was an affordable alternative to the Chevy s-10 Blazer, Ford Explorer and Dodge Durango. I liked those other models, too, but I couldn't get close to the deal I got on the Monstero. Same with the Pathfinder & 4Runner; nice models, but the Monstero / CarMax deal was too good to pass up. At 6' / 250, the Monstero was always a comfortable ride. My friends, all of whom are in the 5'10" - 6'2" range, could comfortably sit in the passenger seat and back seats w/o a problem. 137,500 miles | ||

My Little Beast — Performance: Great 4wd, quick breaking, fast acceleration, easy handling Build Quality: Unfortunally its has a tin can out build, getting new breaks, and belts Appearance: i've had my friends two year old in it so it needs cleaned, a couple scratch on the out side cause of my temper C.O.O.: Gas is in the high twentys, low maintenace Fan Factor: i have lots of fun in this car its my little beast |
