Pros

Reliable. Great handling. Good storage. Good gas mileage. Rarely in the shop.

Cons

No power doors.

Reliable — The paint, seats, etc have held up great! We love that the third row folds away or it can tilt the other direction for tailgate seating. This car is rarely in the shop! I would buy a Mazda MVP for my next van but Mazda stopped making them.

Pros

Over 244K on the ODO and still going strong.  In the 7 years I've owned this Mazda, it has never left me stranded

Cons

Gearing in the tranny could have been done a bit differently.  It's a 5 speed but when in cruise control and pulling a little bit of hill it downshifts quite a bit

Great Overall Mini-van — In the seven years I've owned this vehicle I've put well over 160K on it, all I've had to do is change plugs, oil changes, tires, brakes and a water pump and it's still running strong. It's a great vehicle and very dependable, I wish Mazda didn't change to the new smaller version of it.

Van Has A Soul Of A Sports Car — the performance on this car is sick the acceleration is fast, stops instantly but smooth, and great handling the build quality is good but needs a little repairs the appearance is like a sports car but beefed up the van gets great mileage and maintenance is affordable and last but not lease the van is muy fabalosa to drive

Great Family Car By cmm324

It is a great vehicle for a family who wants lots of space without sacrificing handling and performance. It has served us reliably for 3 years so far with only minor repairs needed over that time. I w... Read More

Too Bad I Can't Get A 2013 Mazda Mpv! By analyzerlx

I wish the MPV was still being sold by Mazda, I would consider buying another one to replace my current minivan. I will have another child next year and a smaller Mazda5 will definitely not cut it. C... Read More

Mazda Mpv By Ryan

The only thing that isn't great is the winter performance. If you live where it snows you may either need the all-wheel drive model or to get snow tires. This van is great even though it looks small i... Read More

Mazda Mpv Impressions By kkhoffie

Overall, i think it's a great family car. Obviously it's not designed for daily commutes or for super handling but it does the job averagely. The size gives it a plus over other family vans and the ad... Read More

Excellent Family Car When Not In The Shop. By Kindred

I bought my MPV from an auction dealer so it wasn't in top condition, but I got a good deal on it. I knew it would have problems but I didn't think this many. I may have gotten one that was treated ba... Read More

My MPV's heart is 2.0 and LPG is installed, so at the summer time with AC swithed on feels that it's AC takes good part of engine's power. But over all braking and handling are good enough. Build qual... Read More
