2003 Lexus GS 300 Overview
The second generation of the Lexus GS 300 debuted in 1998, and the luxury auto maker only made minor changes - if any - in the annual overhauls leading up to a major redesign in 2006. With its V6, 225 horsepower engine the 2003 GS 300 was targeted at "cost conscious" luxury sedan purchasers.
There were only minor changes in the 2003 model year, but drivers liked those changes. They included making the moon roof a standard feature, an in-dash CD changer and wider tires.
Drivers would have liked to have seen more power and for Lexus to mimic other car makers by putting audio system controls on the steering wheel. But they gushed about the "smooth, cushy, relaxing ride" and the interior styling of the 2003 GS 300.
