ProsManual, and the stock sounds system is very good. ConsOnly two door, and two seats :(

Decent Truck. — Eh it's an okay car for the price. It cost me 7k and being a Ford I was hesitant because of maintenance problems associated with that dealer. But so far it's been a reliable truck and is fun to drive because of it's manual. Primary Use: Commuting to work

ProsStreet cred, versatility and relaxed driver. ConsOvertaking ability and unreliable drivetrain

Fantastic Workhorse — This is a very comfortable and reliable vehicle. My one was quite heavy on diesel though, while the performance was fairly mediocre. Servicing and maintenance was reasonable. The biggest like for me was the respect one got on the road. It wasn't really large or fast, but people moved over readily on the freeway. My biggest gripe was with the diff and the useless gearbox. Ford has never been able to build a gearbox worth noting for it's reliability. Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

ProsFuel efficient truck ConsLarge towing or 3+ people trips

Dependent Little Truck :) — Good truck. Like most of it. Good mileage for it's size and usage. Wish it had a lil more room in the ext. cab and more power. Tough shocks. Decent to drive, not too exciting, but not boring either. Rides high for a small truck, which I like.

2003 Ranger — not very good on gas. some dents form the last guy that owned it. might turbo it after summer dont know yet. they dont list the trim cuz its custom, its an xlt 2dr 4x4 with a long bed. its pretty fun to drive tho. for a truck its got a bit of get up and go

ProsGas milage, Sporty ConsNot enough cab space, and too small to pull camper.

Good! — Too Small! Needs more cab space and heavier to pull camper. Its not what I wanted, I wanted an extended cab, but I guess beggers can't be choosers. This truck is only good for teenagers who wants to cruise around and not haul or tow anthing. Like camping or Landscaping.

4.0 V6 Ranger Review — I love my truck!! It's fun to drive, tons of power for the 4.0 V6, owned it for a year now, never done anything on it except for swapping the air filters. Gas consumption isn't even too bad!! :D. Over all a great truck, definitely my favorite vehicle I've ever owned!

ProsSturdy build ConsBigger Engine

Fx4 Ranger — Very solid truck. I have abused it time and time again offroading with minimal breaking. CV axles could be stronger and a more powerful engine. It has a tough appearance for its size especially when its lifted. Very fun to drive. Overall, its very reliable and fun to drive on and off road. |
