CarGurus Overview
The R/T is gone this year, replaced by the SXT, which inherits its 3.5-liter, 250-hp V6 engine and much of its performanced-tuned suspension and steering, making this the sportiest family car in the Intrepid line.
It does not come standard with the 17-inch chrome wheels or ABS that the R/T had or the garage door opener, traction control, trip computer, or security system that the ES now offers, but the SXT still has plenty of standard features similar to the ES. Its main difference is the high-output engine. As in the ES, options include ABS brakes, sunroof, and daytime running lights. The Intrepid always gets rated highly for handling and speed, as well as comfort and cargo space. Minor complaints focus on a plain interior, not enough options, poor rear visibility, and loud road noise.
