2003 Dodge Intrepid SE Trim Overview

The 2003 Intrepid SE base model gets few changes this year, but remains popular because it is an affordable family car that also offers a lot of extras as standard.  A 2.7-liter, 200-hp engine comes standard, with option for the 3.5-liter, 234-hp V6.  Standard features such as power windows and locks, air conditioning, dual front airbags, center console, power outside mirrors, and lighted entry maket the SE not your ordinary base model.

The 2003 Intrepid SE can be upgraded to include ABS, cruise control, power driver's seat, sunroof, traction control, split rear bench, and keyless entry.  Drivers love its great handling, though complain that the 2.7 V6 is too weak for such a large car.  Trunk space is huge, but hard to get into through the small opening.  Exterior noise is still loud, despite Chrysler's attempts to dampen it by thickening the glass.
