Our Standby 4x4 — We like the room, we like that it was cheap to buy one used, we love the spacious interior, we like the rear a/c controls, I like that I can easily change the spark plugs rather than pay $170 for a job that takes less than an hour for a novice. Changing brakes is a breeze as well.

The Durango — I have Away's wanted one, the preformance is exellent and If you want a nice looking, good performing, solid truck for work or for yourself, and you don't want to spend over 20K on a new car, then this truck's for you. I have one in silver which I got for 14k there are all kinds of extras and the comfort is awesome, the only down side to this is that it does not get good gas milage i am pulling around 13 mpg

Pros

4WD and lots of seat for many kids if you have them and it is not a minivan LMAO!

Cons

its a sled and crappy gas mileage 12.5 MPG and feels like a "Soccer Mom's" car or the compromise for dad who wants a truck not a mini van

The Soccer Mom Car..... — This car was comfortable but I hated it from day 1! it got crappy gas mileage and was expensive to maintain and insure....................................cant think of anything good to say here it! I couldn't see out the windows and I HATED this car! Only good things...it was a DODGE and I could put furniture and lots of stuff in it

Pros

Very roomy. Comfortable seats and air condition covers the entire vehicle.

Cons

Magnum V8 engine sucks up the gas.

Big Tough Truck — I bought this Durango while trading in my 2006 Passat. We're in Florida so no real problem buying an older truck down here as long as it's taken care of well. 164k on the odometer when purchased on June 30, 2012. Will update on this vehicle as I drive and own it more.

The Durango Is An All Around Sport Suv/cargo And A Dream To Drive — the dodge durango sle is in a class by its self, it roomy for the tall people in your family, great on gas mileage and easy on the wallet. This 2003 Dosge durange has not bad or blind spots, it is an all the round vehicle. Great family vehicle.

Best Thing I Have Ever Owned. — Tough, rugged and long lasting. For a great price you can have a true 4X4 off road vehicle that drive like a Lincoln on the road. Mine never broke or left me stranded. I bought it new and will never sell it.

One Of The Best Suv's I Have Ever Owned. — I just got this 2003 Durango about 2 weeks ago. I wanted an SUV due to winter is upon us and my Grand Maruqis just wasn't cuttin it. I currently have only had 1 issue with this Durango and that is that it keeps stalling out on me at just about every stop sign or light. I had done alot if internet research and I hope I found out the solution. I will know in the next couple days.

Good Truck, Bad On Fuel, But Worth The Price! — Its a great truck for a great price. I love the room it has in it. It has lots of room for the kids and everyone and then more room for all your stufff in the back! This thing has the power to go everywhere, and the engine to pull it with!

I Love It. — Good truck. Decent gas mileage for an SUV. Lots of space. Easy to maintain, doesnt break down much. Easily accelerates and brakes. There are a few dings and dents, but runs well. It is a great vehicle to drive. Excellent.

Pros

Big power in a mid-size SUV!!!

Cons

Poor gas mileage

A Good Buy Overall — This vehicle has given me very few problems. Dodge had an absolute winner with this model with a very reliable drivetrain and a rough and rugged appearance. It is very comfortable and fun to drive. The backseat could use a little more legroom but the cargo area is more than ample!!! If you were considering an older style durango, make sure and go with the smaller 4.7L V8, as it is very powerful for a small package.
