All Corvettes Are Red. — This was a really nice car. Great performance and handling. My wife really liked it. Nice oak interior. Didn't like the auto shifter, I really like my new 6 speed. Only sold it because my daughter needed money for college and she got married so we needed money for the wedding. I thought I would be happy with the cheaper 79 but that just didn't happen. Now I have my black 03 with the 6 speed and couldn't be happier. Maybe a Z06 would be nicer, but they don't have tan interior and I don't race around enough to need the extra horsepower. If I ever sell the black one it will be for a Z06. But overall, the red one sold me on the C5's. Have driven the C'6s and the seem bulky or fat.

Cons

Great C5 — Best of all my former Corvettes. Most fun to drive. Big tires look great on the aftermarket Z06 wheels. Previous owner was OCD about it. Just over 50000 miles. Performance 3.42 rear end. See thru top. Wheels are 18/8.5 front and 19/11 on the back. All factory options. Love the HUD. Aftermarket Pioneer stereo with rear subwoofer and Alpine speakers.

Sleek — Very fun sport auto to drive. Immediate acceleration and pin point braking. Rear view mirror and door mirrors are positioned for total 360 look see around auto. This helps with high speed driving on the interstates for weaving thru traffic.

Great Style, Power And Handling — I have always wanted a 2003 Anniversary Edition Corvette Convertible. They are the perfect mix of style, color and performance from the best made american car. This is one car that does not need any additions or upgrades and will always remain original.

The Best "bang For The Buck" And By Far The Greatest Car I Have Ever Owned. — Everything about driving this car is pure fun. With over 400 horsepower at your disposal and a race tuned suspension you will have a blast just driving to the grocery store. Even with all the power it drives and handles like a dream. You can easily cruise down the highway and maintain over 30 MPG. In those moments you want to taste some of it's power it will quickly put you back into your seat. The acceleration is amazing. Giving her some gas from a dead stop will easily spin the tires, even with the traction control turned on. In fact I have spun the tires all the way through third gear so you need to learn how to accelerate without breaking the rear end loose. Although I gotta admit that all the control and handling systems built into this car do an incredible job at keeping you pointed in the right direction. With that said, respect for it's power is a must as you can easily spin out. As fun as all this sounds there is no need to drive her fast on the street as it could be disastrous. From what I have seen these things are attracted to trees and telephone poles. Easier said than done right? It all comes down to this; she looks fast, everyone else knows she is fast, and she is very very sexy so sit back and enjoy the ride. But if you feel the need to go fast that's what tracks and drag strips are made for. Performance: Acceleration: Hell Yeah! Braking: Stops on a dime Handling: Like a dream Build Quality: Repairs: None, this thing is bullet proof Squeaks/Rattles: There are some, but it's a factory built race car. Most of the sound dampening and insulation have been removed to lighten the car. The most notable sound you will hear is wind noise from the side windows, this is easily negated by the sweet sound of 400+ HP passing through the titanium exhaust so roll the window down. Appearance: Interior Styling: The cockpit setup is great. Everything is easy to reach and in the right place. The quality is a little cheap in some aspects like the stereo, seats, and plastic trim compared to other "super cars" but hey, I didn't pay over $100,000 for it either. There are aftermarket items that you can buy if you feel the need for a more luxurious interior. Exterior Styling: You see my pictures right? HOT! Cost of Ownership: Gas Mileage: I average 17 MPG driving to and from work, the store, etc. On the Highway I average 32 MPG, now that is incredible! My question is this, if my Z06 can go from 0-60 in 3.7 seconds and have a top speed of almost 200 MPH why can't a minivan get at least 40+ MPG? I don't get it? Maintenance: Never a problem, over 73,000 miles and nothing more than routine maintenance. An oil change at least once a year costs around $80-$100 (requires special Mobile 1 oil) if done at a 10 minute oil shop and less if done yourself. Brakes every few years are no more expensive than my Jeep. Tires are expensive but should last you a few years as long as you keep your foot out of the gas. **Note to self, stop doing burnouts and donuts** Fun Factor: Duh! Who wouldn't think driving a highly maneuverable rocket was fun?

Beautiful, Classic,........ 2 Seat Sports Car — This car is a once in a lifetime opportunity. It has unbelievable acceleration, handles like a dream, it is just an extremely fun car to drive............constantly turns heads! This car would always draw people over to look at it. The colors GM chose for the 50th Anniversary model are truly Corvette! After building this car for 50 years this is the model they chose to represent the Corvette! ...............this car is a true classic!

Love It. — Love the colors of the exterior and interior. Removable tint top. Memory Seats. Wheel color. Interior layout and appearance. Build quality is outstanding. Ride is very nice with the Select Ride Feature. Lots of space in the rear/compartments. Gas mileage is great. (27/31 highway)(21 overall). Just a fun car to own and drive. Interior noise level is not good, however I have added a sound deadening kit from Corvette-Web-Central and replaced the Good Year Eagle run flats with Cooper Zeon's and what a world difference. You can actually have a normal conversation with your passenger. We also purchased a two place cup holder from Mid-America Motorworks and it works great.

2003 Chevy Corvette Z06 50th Annyversary — In general I really love my corvette. I never felt as good about purchasing a vehicle as I did when I got my Corvette, I have no regreats at all. The handeling, the style, the power, the whole thing feels just right. Driving down the streets or freeways its a great feeling when people just look at your pretty car with so much to say. The Gas milege unlike people suspect its grrrreeaat on the freeway almost giving me 32 MPG, now that is pretty immpresive with all that power there is no way you can go wrong. Love the car... There is no way you can go wrong wtih this vehicle... all I have to say is I Love It. ..... :-)
