The Best "bang For The Buck" And By Far The Greatest Car I Have Ever Owned. — Everything about driving this car is pure fun. With over 400 horsepower at your disposal and a race tuned suspension you will have a blast just driving to the grocery store. Even with all the power it drives and handles like a dream. You can easily cruise down the highway and maintain over 30 MPG. In those moments you want to taste some of it's power it will quickly put you back into your seat. The acceleration is amazing. Giving her some gas from a dead stop will easily spin the tires, even with the traction control turned on. In fact I have spun the tires all the way through third gear so you need to learn how to accelerate without breaking the rear end loose. Although I gotta admit that all the control and handling systems built into this car do an incredible job at keeping you pointed in the right direction. With that said, respect for it's power is a must as you can easily spin out. As fun as all this sounds there is no need to drive her fast on the street as it could be disastrous. From what I have seen these things are attracted to trees and telephone poles. Easier said than done right? It all comes down to this; she looks fast, everyone else knows she is fast, and she is very very sexy so sit back and enjoy the ride. But if you feel the need to go fast that's what tracks and drag strips are made for. Performance: Acceleration: Hell Yeah! Braking: Stops on a dime Handling: Like a dream Build Quality: Repairs: None, this thing is bullet proof Squeaks/Rattles: There are some, but it's a factory built race car. Most of the sound dampening and insulation have been removed to lighten the car. The most notable sound you will hear is wind noise from the side windows, this is easily negated by the sweet sound of 400+ HP passing through the titanium exhaust so roll the window down. Appearance: Interior Styling: The cockpit setup is great. Everything is easy to reach and in the right place. The quality is a little cheap in some aspects like the stereo, seats, and plastic trim compared to other "super cars" but hey, I didn't pay over $100,000 for it either. There are aftermarket items that you can buy if you feel the need for a more luxurious interior. Exterior Styling: You see my pictures right? HOT! Cost of Ownership: Gas Mileage: I average 17 MPG driving to and from work, the store, etc. On the Highway I average 32 MPG, now that is incredible! My question is this, if my Z06 can go from 0-60 in 3.7 seconds and have a top speed of almost 200 MPH why can't a minivan get at least 40+ MPG? I don't get it? Maintenance: Never a problem, over 73,000 miles and nothing more than routine maintenance. An oil change at least once a year costs around $80-$100 (requires special Mobile 1 oil) if done at a 10 minute oil shop and less if done yourself. Brakes every few years are no more expensive than my Jeep. Tires are expensive but should last you a few years as long as you keep your foot out of the gas. **Note to self, stop doing burnouts and donuts** Fun Factor: Duh! Who wouldn't think driving a highly maneuverable rocket was fun? Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

ProsI like the looks and its comfortable enought for me to drive it 4 hours straight to Las Vegas and i am 6'1". ConsYou can only fit two people, but that is ok because I avoid giving people rides most of the time.

2003 Chevy Corvette Z06 50th Annyversary — In general I really love my corvette. I never felt as good about purchasing a vehicle as I did when I got my Corvette, I have no regreats at all. The handeling, the style, the power, the whole thing feels just right. Driving down the streets or freeways its a great feeling when people just look at your pretty car with so much to say. The Gas milege unlike people suspect its grrrreeaat on the freeway almost giving me 32 MPG, now that is pretty immpresive with all that power there is no way you can go wrong. Love the car... There is no way you can go wrong wtih this vehicle... all I have to say is I Love It. ..... :-) Primary Use: Commuting to work

Gas mileage is well above what I expected, highway I ran about 28 mpg!! Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

'03 Corvette — Handles fantastically, has plenty of power, is gorgeous, and I'm always proud to drive it! I love all the little extras with it too - the memory seats, and the HUD are my favorites. MPG really isn't that bad for a sports car, IMO (very low 20's). This car makes my 2+ hour per day commute FUN!! I love it! :)

ProsThe obvious: performance and looks ConsNone

Amazing And Flexible — I don't like this car, I love it. I purchased it new over 8 years ago and have not regretted that decision once. It is an excellent daily driver and extremely economical compared to sports cars with similar performance abilities. The trunk easily handles 2 sets of golf clubs and weekend bags with the top up or down. The seats are supportive and comfortable. The car is a blast to drive and a constant head turner. Primary Use: Commuting to work |
