2003 Buick Park Avenue Trims and Specs

Few changes were in store for the 2003 Buick Park Avenue Base, a luxury sedan with quiet comfort and easy handling that delivers plenty of convenience features. Under the hood sits a 3.8-liter, 205-hp V6 engine and a 4-speed automatic, that gets about 20/30 mpg. The front-wheel drive sedan seats five comfortably and comes standard with ABS brakes, dual front and side airbags, automatic headlights, 16-inch alloy wheels, and daytime running lights.

For comfort, the 2003 Park Avenue Base comes with leather seats, dual-zone climate control, cruise control, remote entry, power front seats with driver's memory settings, an alarm, leather trim, and wheel-mounted audio controls. The seats do not fold down, but the trunk offers an unbelievable 19 cubic feet of space. Options include the Gran Touring package, with a beefed up suspension, a sunroof, heated seats and mirrors, a CD player, OnStar, and auto-dimming rearview mirrors. Safety options include stability and traction control, parking sensors, and rain-sensing wipers. Owners love the roominess and quiet ride. There are few complaints about the well-equipped 2003 Buick Park Avenue Base.

The 2003 Buick Park Avenue Ultra gets a lot of updates this year, including the retro portholes above the side fenders. Most notably, the supercharged 3.8-liter, 240-hp V6 engine and 4-speed automatic now comes standard with the previously optional Gran Touring package, adding a firmer self-leveling suspension and rear stabilizer bar. Adding on to what you get on the base model, the 2003 Park Avenue Ultra features stability and traction control, a tire monitor, auto-dimming mirrors, and rain-sensing wipers for near effortless driving. Rear parking sensors are optional.

Other upgrades from the Base include a trip computer, new 17-inch wheels, turn signals in the mirrors, a CD player, a front bench seat that expands seating to six or five with a fold-down console, heated seats and mirrors, OnStar, and wheel-mounted audio controls. If you need to be pampered further, you can add on a sunroof, heads-up windshield display, and a CD changer. The roomy comfort is great for family vacations, but drivers really love the extra engine power and improved acceleration in the 2004 Park Avenue Ultra. The center console cover is a bit hard to open.
