Nice To Have One. — Like the handling of my truck. Spacious. Easy to park. Dislike the mileage. But its a truck!! Never has left me high and dry. Time to move on though. Will definately recommend if you want a lifelong partner. With the truck chasis it does not veer off the road during bad climate.

Hunting Buggy — I really enjoy driving this vehicle. It drives great, on and off road. I can take it to work or hunting and know that it will get the job done. Overall this is a great, very safe vehicle to drive.

My 4runner — I love my truck!! It takes off well, it is sturdy. I like being able to flip into 4 whl when i get stuck in traffic - which i have done!! I also love the look! My favotie aspect is the fact that the back window goes down and lets the air flow thru.

Great Buy — Good acceleration, very roomy, good handling and comfortable for long trips. Fuel economy is the weak point for this SUV. Excellent reliability, low maintenance cost, repairs and spare parts are very affordable. A great buy for. 2002 Toyota 4Runner SR5.

Family Quality — I would buy another one in a heart beat. Its a great suv. Never left me stranded, has over 150k on it and never has even had a check engine light. awsome!!! Can't really be happier than that when you buy a used car.

Pros

Bug-free, dependable and capable.

Cons

Underpowered, a little noisey and truck-like ride.

2002 4runner — Excellent vehicle for getting around in the snow with BFG AT's. A little underpowered for my taste. Has been very reliable and cheap to maintain. Styling has held up well, interior is solid and clean, but has developed some squeaks and rattles. Upgraded suspension with Bilsteins and blocks in the rear to level the ride, which helped restore handling. Gets good gas mileage, brakes are acceptable for an SUV but certainly not spectacular. Have added NAV/DVD, backup camera, bluetooth hands-free, and ipod dock. Factory speakers have held up surprisingly well. Overall an excellent value, solid, dependable and capable.

Pros

Great pick-up, plenty of room, comfortable ride, good looks, back
window rolls down, solid car.

Cons

Fuel economy, but thats expected on an car this size.

High Quality Auto — Great car, other than fuel economy theres little to complain about on this car. It has plenty of pep, and for a SUV that is 6 years old looks pretty sharp, compared to the newer models out there.

Pros

Reliability, build quality

Cons

Power, brakes.

4runner Versus Durango — The 4Runner replaces as a tow vehicle a 5.9 Durango AWD with limited slip differentials, tow package, and the lower 3.92 gearing, so it had some pretty big shoes to fill. The 4Runner is way more reliable and able to pull long and hard without destroying the automatic transmission, but at the end of the day, it's limited by its 3.4 liter V6.

Pros

Excellent for hiking, camping, back road stuff

Cons

When your pregnant it gets harder to climb into, it is basically like a truck, wish it where shorter

Toyota — I have owned 2 Toyota's and absolutely love them. Have only had to change brakes, tires and maybe a belt. Excellent for hiking, camping, back road stuff. quiet, runs smooth, can sleep in back, fits tons of groceries from Costco, great for baby seats, not comfortable for long car trips though..

Pros

5 speed, smooth clutch, smooth brakes, good handling

Cons

Low mpg

Great Car — The clutch is really smooth. I have no problems with the performance. The only issue is gas milage: it gets around 20 mpg, but with the pod on the top it probably gets 18-19. I really like the look, especially compared to all the newer models of the 4runner.
