Great Looking Suv With Plenty Of Power — Great looking vehicle with plenty of power. Drives more like a car than an SUV. LE version has numerous options including memory seat, heated leather seats, cruise control and radio controls on steering wheel. The gas mileage is okay but this is typical for most SUV's.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

This Is A Great Dependable Truck And Family Car. — This car has been a great transportation for my family for the last 10 years. Both dependable and reliable with ton of power when needed. 4WD is very easy to use and seamless when activated with the twist of a button on the dash panel. BOSE Factory radio is great and even after 12 years everything works as it should.

Pros

powerful enough for everyday driving and decent off road stock

Cons

lots of road noise heard from inside the vehicle while driving, poor turning radius

Beast — I like being able to ride up high and the pathfinder is high enough but not too top heavy. the ride was very smooth once it was broken in, reliable (started everytime i needed it to even though i put 65,000 miles on it in 4.75 years, sturdy (got rear ended and the guys truck was smashed up pretty bad and the only damage to my car was the hatchback got stuck closed and the rear bumper was pushed down.

Pros

Good get around car. Rugged enough for off roading and powerful enough to pull my tear drop trailer.

Cons

poor gas mileage, it has some quirks: my rear hatch door lock seems to malfunction with left turns: the latch slips and the "red" door open tail light comes on and off. Also the lights on the automatic door remote does not work (this is connected to the rear door latch issue.

Good Car For "active Get Outdoors Person" — I like my Pathfinder. It is comfortable with good visibility for around town and rugged enough to go on moderately rough dirt roads. With my Thule roof box i have plenty of storage. It is small enough for a quick hand wash.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Very Relieable, Quick For An Suv — This car was so much fun, and I entirely regret selling it. It was moderately quick, and would easily outperform most other vehicles in its class. Never had a problem with this car.

I Fell In Love With This Car! — I purchased this car in January 2002. I was in love with the look of this car for a year before I actually purchased one. It served me well for 6 years.

Work Of Beauty. — This car= love. i have had so much fun with this.Runs like a top and never needed a repair. Gas mileage sucks...but hey its an suv. This is an all around beautiful car. Great power and acceleration. The only problem I had was finding the oil filter....it's in a horrible spot.

Good Reliable Car. — The 2002 year of the Nissan pathfinder brings a more refined look to the lines somewhat bland looks, there is also an increase in performance. there is plenty of power under the hood that will quickly get you passed any car on the road. there is also plenty of torque to pull a boat or camper. Overall this is a good long lasting car.
