The ES is the entry level Lancer. Standard features include air conditioning, cloth upholstery, full power accessories, a CD player and automatic-off headlights. Options include keyless entry and a split-folding rear seat.
The 2.0 liter inline four can be paired with either a five-speed manual transmission or an optional four-speed automatic.
The LS is the mid-level trim for the new Lancer sedan. The manual transmission is not available with this model.
Features upgrades include cruise control, keyless entry, a split folding rear seat and intermittent wipers. The only options for the LS are safety related: ABS and front side airbags.
The O-Z Rally is the top tier for the 2002 Lancer lineup. The O-Z is differentiated from the lower trim levels by a unique interior trim, white-faced gauges, special alloy wheels, and an aerodynamics-enhancing body kit. Buyers can choose between the five-speed manual and the optional four-speed automatic.
