2002 Lexus GS 300

The 2002 GS 300 came one year after major upgrades to the vehicle, so there were only a few changes to report. The navigation system got revisions including multiroute calculation, simplified graphics, and route preview, along with a faster computer and the ability to play DVD movies on its dashboard screen.

Otherwise, the GS 300 was untouched. The car retained its V6, 225 horsepower engine and was seen as an entry-level vehicle for buyers looking to get into a GS without going broke.

"It takes me 6 months to get bored of a new car," claimed one owner. "I have owned my GS for over 2 years now and I am still enjoying it." The biggest complaints for the GS 300 in 2002 centered on the power deficiency when compared with bigger, V8 models.
