Pros

Lots of fun to drive not just a van,  it's a powerhouse of fun,  jets thru traffic

Cons

My engine died on me, and that was a real bummer, cause I like the van so much wanted to keep it, but it was shy of the cargo space I really wanted.  Needed more chrome.

I Liked My Sedona As Much Or More Than Any Other Car Or Van I Have Ever Owned. — Not enough cargo space when using the rear bucket seats also I would rather have the 3 individual seats in the middle rather than just a bench seat for two. Great Acceleration, braking and handling. Felt safe and enjoyable to drive. I was getting 20mpg in our rural town. It was amazing.

The Sedona Is A Very Well Built Van Roomy Except For Lack Of Truck Space — car runs well with high octane fuel the trim work is very flimsy the front splash guard has issues it allows water to splash the engine ive had to do multiple repairs due to the issue also the rear coolant pipes rust out at an accelerated rate

An Okay Vehicle, With Somewhat Costly Maintenance — Great Price, but lots of expensive stuff can go wrong that shouldn't, and doesn't fit under the warranty. Just after full warranty expired, the A/C compressor seized. Rear Heater hose corroded out after one year. Corroded out again two years later. Allow wheels look terrible once the protective film wears off. Wish I had known it had a rubber timing belt that would need changed every 60000 miles, at $500 each time!

Not As Cheap As I Thought — Bought new as it was only mini-van I could afford. Have had all the typical sedona problems. Broken door handles, failed alternator, crank shaft issues, rust issues, etc. I will probably not even consider another Kia.

Kia? Never Again — Overall this car was fine for the first year, then things started happening. The dealer we bought it from went out of business, then the next closest one to our home also went out business. now I have to drive at least 20 miles for any service. however, service at the dealer is so expensive I try to do most of it myself. almost all the interior and exterior parts are made from very cheap plastic so i have had to replace door handles and trim and many things keep breaking. this van is now 10 years old and we only have 70K miles but it looks like it has 300K. very unhappy with this van, never going to buy a Kia vehicle ever again
