Do Not Buy One — I will never own another Liberty. Bad MPG on the highway handels like crap and always broke down. But the plus was it would go anywhere and wouldnt get stuck the four wheel drive was nice to switch from 4x4 to 4x2

Pros

This jeep looks very sleek.

Cons

Not a lot of leg room for a taller person, 6' 5" or taller.

Cute Jeep — Cute compact SUV at a reasonable price. This vehicle is great for everyday commute and has a 4 wheel drive capacity. However, probably not the best vehicle for a bigger family, due to the lack of leg room in the back.

3.7 is a good motor, comfortable, seats 5, performs well offroad

Serves Its Purpose Well — The Jeep Liberty is a great suv. It's built well, comfortable, and capable offroad. While it won't go where a Wrangler Rubicon will, it can still get out to the middle of nowhere with the comfort of leather seats, A/C, and a stereo. The 3.7 also appears to be a good motor with enough power. The two major drawbacks are the gas mileage (17.5 mpg) and the slightly girly lookin styling.

I Really Like The Freedom I Have With Luxury To Boot! — My Jeep Liberty gives me the ability to convert it to be flexible and load things. While at the same time it's leather package makes for a nice ride. Good power. Great look.

Pros

Great in the Snow, Fun to Drive. Loaded neatly into a small utility package.

Cons

Fuel consumption. 16MPG at best.

Enjoyable Depending On Your Intended Use. — Fuel consumption. What you gain with a lower rear gear ratio you lose in MPG. It's a trade off. Great in the snow. Has been very reliable. I also own a Chevy Suburban K2500 4x4 and find that I can pack quite a bit into this Jeep Liberty given its smaller appearance.

Great Vehicle — I had this Jeep for 12 years and never had any major problems with it. It has been well maintained and therefore continues to run without any issues. Actually bought this in September 2001 when they first hit the lot.

Blue Jeep — fun to drive, easy to park and etc, turns sharp and has a lot of power, I like how it does off road, I have had a lot of different cj and yj and a tj and this does just as good in the mountains of colorado

I Love My Jeep. If It Had Rear Seats That Lie Flat, A Sunroof, Cd Player It Would Be Perfect. — My Jeep has better acceleration that my husbands Dodge Caravan. It handles well. It hasn't needed repairs and I hve it serviced about every 4-6 months, 3 months are not needed for my jeep. My Jeep is RED and I have had it for almost 10 years and I can't imagine trading it in. I love my Jeep! I would like better gas milage, it gets 10-20 mpg. It is a fun vehicle!
