Classik Car — Love, style and class, totty appeal, perfromance, 4 x 4 ability. Road Handling, Response, Feedback, The Fact It's Better Than A Mondeo, Leather And Wood, Gearbox, Back Seats. Hate, the fact you at first get classed as an old man till the girls see someone young driving it then it changes!!

Love My Jag — Just love it, a lot thirsty like me but I just love it, It is very comfortable in the cabin, a great place to be 4WD so it handles like a dream has loads of grip The car is lovely to drive, maintenance costs are high, just replaced the clutch and it cost over £1000.00, that did come as a shock but was worth it in the end.

ProsGreat Handling, all wheel drive, fiber opt everything, great stock sound system. Runs on synthetic oil so you don't have to change the oil as often. Under the warrenty you get a loaner jag while you wait, unlike the tischer loaners there's no tag on the bag screaming out "Im a loaner car" lol ConsVery expensive to repair when it comes to parts, not many shops can do work on them.

Wasn't Impressed By It — I had to drive one of these on company business so take a colleague to another store for his assessment on the company training programme. Being the only company car on our site it was the only one I was legally allowed to drive for insurance purposes (can't complain at that eh?) but it was normally driven by the store manager, and at the time I drove it it was only 2 weeks old - talk about pressure! It had nice and smooth comfortable ride, but the acceleration wasn't all that great - I think it was the base level 2.0 engine size. I didn't like the clutch either, it was very springy and took a lot of effort to press with my foot - in fact if felt more or less the same as the clutch in my old Ford Orion! I wasn't very comfortable with parking it either, it's much bigger than anything else I've ever driven and the bonnet is huge so it's hard to make out where the front of the car is. One thing that does stick out in my mind from my experience of driving this is the look on everyone else's faces, you could see they were thinking "how can he afford that" bearing in mind that it was only a couple of weeks old, I was only 22 years old and I was wearing a Tesco uniform! We couldn't resist taking it through the McDonalds Drive-Thru on the way back to our store though - naughty eh? lol
