Reliable, Inexpensive Car. — I like the looks of the car, but more importantly I love the way car drives and performs. Also, the gas mileage is great for a car in this category. So, this car saves you money from the day it is purchased, throughout the lifetime of the car.

I Ended-up Giving It Away (donation). Fell Apart After 100,000 Miles. High Maintenance Costs. — Read the blue book or consumer reports. Not worthy reviewing. When I bought the car I was told it had a certain horsepower, and a couple of months later, Hyundai said they were wrong and downgraded my horsepower (10 less than I thought). Sluggish acceleration. Good gas mileage though. Didn't last beyond 100,000 miles even with regularly scheduled service. Primary Use: Commuting to work | ||

Sonata — I think i got the lemon but others are nice....when i first got it, it as nice, drove good, looked good. Now its problematic and i need something different. Just time to swap it in for something different odd for me to have the same vehicle this long. usually swap up every year or something like that. Primary Use: Family transportation | ||

Awesome Car Withevenbetter Throttle Response — I love the performance of this car it has great throttle response. the brakes could be a bit better. styling is great but not many after market upgrades available. Average Sedan — This model is from the time when Hyundai was just starting to turn around their quality. ProsSports stick, 2 ac/dc plug ins in the interior, easy to clean interior, low profile makes for easy quick get up and go. Good gas mileage average 35 to 40 depending on traffic and such. ConsHard shift from first to second. Not always quick acceleration with ac or blower going. Low profile makes hard to see ahead and over other cars.

Good Gas Milage And Low Profile — This car handles like any car that is a little lower to the ground. Nice luxury interior with 2 yes two spot to plug in your accessories mp3 player and cell phone charger in my case. Along with a sports stick for turning the automatic into stick with out the use of clutch. |
