2002 Ford Expedition XLT 4WD Review
ProsThis is now an older Expedition but has held up well. I use it for everyday driving and on the highway. It excels in highway driving, lots of power and easy handling. Also stops with the ABS brakes and the AWDrive is outstanding. ConsIt has a lot of power but I want more. The seat upholstery could be better quality as could the trim.

2002 Ford Expedition Is A Really Good Vehicle For Long And Short Distance Driving. — The 2002 Ford Expedition has been a wonderful vehicle for me and I believe it will hold up for more. One flaw in these Expeditions is the AC cooler that is located under the dash. It has a tendency to spring a leak. Also the interior trim could be better quality, Overall, this is a good quality vehicle. Primary Use: Commuting to work

We Love It So Far. I Don't Like To Drive It Because It's Too Nice For Me. I'm Affraid I'm Going To — •Performance - acceleration-pretty good braking-good, handling ok •Build Quality - has it needed repairs? squeaks/rattles has a little rattle in the rear probably a loose shock mount •Appearance - both interior and exterior styling-great •Cost of Ownership - gas mileage-sucks, maintenance-ok so far •Fun Factor - is this car fun to drive-its ok Primary Use: Family transportation

2002 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer 4WD Review
ProsMy truck is very comfortable and rides smooth. I didn't realize how much I hated the vehicle I had before my truck until I got my truck! :-) All of a sudden, driving was fun again! The inside is huge and the heated seats are fabulous on those freezing cold mornings. I'm had to fix several things since inheriting the truck but it has ALWAYS started and got me where I had to go! ConsThere are only two cons that I can think of about my truck. #1 is the cost of fuel for it but it doesn't get as bad of gas mileage as you would think. #2 is the maintenance...I'm used to having a mechanic in the family that could fix things for me but my father is gone now and I live 700+ miles from any mechanical family members. The cost of repairs are cheaper than the foreign car I had but due to it's age, there are more repairs needed. Other than those 2 things, my truck is truly awesome and has been a real blessing.

I Love My Truck. It Looks Nice, Rides Great And Is Fun To Drive And So Very Comfortable! — Overall, my truck is a great family vehicle. It can seat 7 adults but I would suggest the 3rd row stadium seating be reserved for children as it's not roomy in the leg department. The 2nd row captain seats are very comfortable indeed. The DVD player keeps the kids happy for awhile. :-) The driver and passenger seating are very comfortable as well. As big as my truck is, it's not awkward and I've always felt comfortable driving it. My truck is a V8 Triton so it accelerates well and handles well. Braking depends on the brake & tire quality. The better the quality, the better the braking and handling. Cheap brakes squeak and cheap tires make the truck feel as though it's rolling slightly to the sides. I believe maintenance and repair costs are fair for my truck. Overall, I would recommend this truck for any family needing reliable transportation but can't afford $10,000+ for a new car. Primary Use: Family transportation

Wonderul Suv — This is such a wonderful SUV. Gas is not as bad as most people may think. It gets 14 in the city and about 20 on the hwy. Very spacious for trips, and very safe. Driving is fun, wonderful, and very realiable. A really smart buy. I am really glad we bought it.

I Love My Eddie Bauer Expedition. — I love it's size, power, handling, and comfort. It is great for long road trips, and "grocery getting".My Eddie Bauer edition had all the bells, and whistles. Leather, heated seats and mirrors, power moonroof, 6 disc cd player, built in dvd player, 3rd row seats, just to name a few. It has performed well in all weather and road conditions, needed no major repairs, and is a blast to drive. The gas mileage was the only down fall to this vehicle. I love my Expedition, and will definitley get another! |
