Wish Ford Would Make Them Again — I feel safe when I drive this truck. Plenty of room for my family and gear. Wish Ford would make a new one for 2013. I Tow a 30' Travel trailer and I never had a problem. dont even feel like its back there Primary Use: Family transportation

ProsHuge 7.3L Diesel Engine. ConsElectronic toys are busted. 6 disc changer that is now a cd prison and a drop down monitor that doesn't work either. That is ok because it was attached to a vhs player. Would've been cool in the 80's.

Daddy's Family War Wagon — I thouroughly enjoy my Excursion. It is perfect for my family of six. I love the fact the there is 8000 pounds of truck around my wife and four children. The third row is a real bench and there is still room behind it for a stroller and groceries. It is great for family vacations. A comfortable ride that can go anywhere and haul everything. The power of the 7.3 diesel is ridiculous. The fuel economy is comprable to most minivans yet it looks and sounds sooooo much cooler. It handles well for the beast it is and the power makes it fun to drive. I love to hammer down on the freeway, spool up the turbo and blast off. My wife, doens't enjoy it as much... well that is unless she is doing it. Primary Use: Family transportation

Amazing Full Power High Performing Vehicle — I love this Excursion. It is superior for transporting family and towing a trailer or boat. It has looks, leather, and it's Impressive. Only drawback is low gas mileage. Makes you feel invincible on the road. Getting behind the wheel of this SUV give you that feeling of POWER! Primary Use: Family transportation

Pros7.3L TURBO DIESEL, averages about 18.0 mpg, room to spare inside. pretty quick for the size. very reliable Consrides alittle ruff but it really doesnt bother me.

The Bus — love the looks, very rigid truck all the way around, i put a hypertech power programmer in it to give extra kick and better fuel economy. probably pushing about 700 ft.lbs of torque.pulled a 10,000 pound load with it with out struggling. Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)
