Great Big Truck Perfect For Plowing, Landscapers, Towing! — Nice looking silver truck. Interior was very comfortable and all the power options worked great. Gas mileage was low but maintenance was very good with no problems to speak of. Ran very smoothly and it could tow and plow easily. It was a safe and easy to drive truck with very good handling. Very fun truck to drive espicially in the snow. Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.)

Prosvery useful car providing the bed and the engine power, most important hardware on this car is either replaced or rebuilt, interior very clean. Just passed inspection. Consthe interior radio might wanna be replaced as it doesnot accept CDs in it

Extremely Reliable And Very Useful — perfect utility tool, and family too, it drives really great, engine feels like new no any disturbing noises coming out of the exhaust, just passed inspection so no any electronic malfunctions, and kept its maintenance ( oil change etc..) always on time. ProsIts a really reliable working truck. Never a problem with this one. You can fit sheet rock right inside the box, long moldings, lumber you name it, everything fits like a glove. ConsSounds like a truck, my wife hates it. I don't care after all, its a truck.

Great Working Truck! — You will fit all your tools inside and then some. Back seats are not that confortable to ride long hours but I don't use them that often. It drives like a charm but you have to find a big space to park or push a bit the other cars (some people don't like that!). Primary Use: Utility (towing boats, transporting cargo, etc.) | ||

ProsI love my truck, it is roomy, has adequate power, plenty of storage space, looks good, drives good, and rides like a caddy on the hiway. Very reliable. I have taken care of it and have had only maintenance stuff to deal with.....new brake pads, battery, oil changes..etc. ConsThe dash started cracking in summer of this year (2012).

Great Vehicle That Really Still Looks Good And "modern" Even Though Its 10 Years Old. — I like everything about my truck except the dash cracking (2012), and the fan noise under the hood (just started), which I think is the fan clutch. Other than that, I don't think there is a better truck for the money. I have pulled fully loaded trailers (8 to 20 ft), campers, boats, and a few other cars/trucks with this vehicle, and although it has the 4.7 liter, it has done a fine job for me. My gas mileage on hiway trips has been as high as 19.8, and overall gas mileage is usually around 16. I have replaced the drivers side wheel hub assembly at 165,000, the radiator in 2006 (rock flew into it and busted it), one water pump (result of busted radiator debris in system), throttle position sensor (at 210,000), clutch fan (at 190,000), and the resavoir tank that I broke when changing radiator. Drives just like it did when I got it, and I drive it every day. Primary Use: Family transportation | ||

I Would Buy Another One. — This is a really good truck. Coming from owning Fords, I was leery of a Dodge, but this truck has redeemed the Chrysler brand fore me. It never fails to start, it's very comfortable, and most importantly, the transmission has not blown up in it. I can't comment too much on reliability, as I bought the truck as a fixer, but since it has been fixed up, it has been perfect. You can tell the truck is well built where it counts, the doors shut with a very solid slam, and the truck doesn't rattle or squeak. However, Chrysler's choice of materials, most notably the dash top, was found wanting as the dash has cracked from exposure to sunlight. Fuel mileage on the open road is actually quite good for a pickup truck, typically getting 20-21 with the 4.7L engine. Primary Use: Commuting to work | ||

This Car Is A Great Car To Own — It was great with acceleration and handling. The braking was terrible but it needed new brakes. It had no repairs except the brakes. The appearance was awesome. It was clean with no dents. The gas mileage was amazing on this truck and I never had to fix anything. This was a very fun car to drive and a lot of memories in it. 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 Slt Quad Cab4x4 4.7l — Great styling for a 10 year old truck. Haven't had any problems except for rust and normal maintenance. It has the smaller 4.7L motor as it was the first year and they didn't offer the hemi yet. Next truck will have the hemi. Primary Use: Commuting to work | ||
