Awesome — I love it! Drives great, 4wd is great and it's comfy and safe. Awesome family car and like any car, if you take care of it, it should go on strong for years taking care of you : )Only somewhat negative thing to say: In strong winds you need to remember you're driving a suv, they tend to blow around a bit more then cars and this one is no different. Just drive responsibly and you'll be fine! Wish GM hadn't stopped making Trackers... Hopefully I will have mine for years to come! Looks great inside and out!!! Very stylish and very fun to drive!

My Car! — This car has taken me to work everyday, no matter if is sunny, raining or snowing. I fill the tank every 2 weeks. I go to work everyday (30 miles trip). Never has given my any problems. I love it!

Pros

I like this vehicle because the 4 wheel drive gave me peace of mind when the weather became inclimate. The small SUV is easy to manuver in tight spaces and the higher ground clearance was great for navigating on uneven ground. The higher vehicle makes it easier  for older people to get in and out of.

Cons

It does not have antilock brakes which at the time I purchased it I thought that was a federal mandate. Braking hard from a high speed to a sudden stop could have been designed better. The brakes are fine but they feel a little under built. I've never had a problem but the brakes just felt funny I don't know how to explain the feeling. The high profile vehicle made cross winds a little more challanging to drive in but I didn't feel in any danger because that's the way most SUV's are.

I Would Keep This Car Until The Wheels Fell Off But I Need Something A Little More Fuel Effecient. — I liked the nimbleness the ability to make U turns where other vehicles could not. This has been a very dependable car. I did not like the feel of the brakes, I think the front rotors could have been designed a little larger. It is a nice looking compact SUV and maintanence was very reasonable.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros

Cheap parts, great in the snow/ice, minimal maintence costs, amazing mileage.

Cons

just a little small for me(i'm 6'3);cheap plastic door handles and mirrors.  3rd time for handles.

Very Reliable; Nothing Big Has Gone Except A Water Pump, Which Was Peanuts. — I still love this vehicle; It was my first one ever(actually did my road test in it). A few small issues such as cv boots and the normal brakes and regular oil changes. Easy to find parts for this, and trust me the handles are garbage!!!!! All in all, I can depend on this vehicle alot more than my F-150. I figure that's saying quite a bit!!

2002 Tracker — this is probably the best overall vehicle I have ever owned. It will go anywhere I have ever taken it. It hasn't cost me much money to upkeep. My wife drives it most of the time and loves it. We will keep this car until it falls apart

Pros

Small enough to park anywhere, and big enough to sit higher for good viewing of the road.

Cons

A little light weight on the soughness factor.  Cad. converter died very quickly and caused the car to lose a lot of power until fixed.

Great Car With A Lot Of Power And Easy To Park, Big Interior, Quiet Ride. — this car looks small and la little ugly, but it has a lot of room and it drives well and is stable on the road at most speeds, except when you go faster than 65mph. It has a nice tight turning radius, and parks easily. It is good on gass and the 4wd, when it works, is a life saver for the North East winters.
