Buy A Malibu — it works great. not the most beautiful car though, it is a family style car after all. rides nice, its fast. doesn't handle the best around corners since it is a bigger car. gas mileage is really good for a v6. so far i have only had to have the front brakes and a wheel barring replaced. its a pretty dark green color with a beige and gray interior.i wish it were a black interior though. it has 4 cup holders which i like a lot, and air conditioner, love that. i also like that it has a factory am/fm radio with both a cd player and cassette player, not to mention the speakers which have pretty good bass response for factor made. overall i love my Malibu.

Return Of The Quality Malibu — A good car, 3.1 V6 had power on demand, handled well, especially when I put Kelly tires on it. Comfy ride, maintenance was middle of the road, though it went through brakes kind of fast. Good looking car and rode well, not a Cadillac but not a Cavalier either.

Great Value And Transportation. — Looking for an older car that is reliable? The Chevy Malibu is a great choice. The car drives well and has plenty of room for 5 adults. There are no frills with the base model, but it does include features like power windows and locks, ABS brakes, etc.

Nice And Sporty For A Malibu — Had a good time driving this Malibu, exhaust sounded awesome and it looks really sporty on the Malibu. Got lots of looks on the roads with the loud side exit, especially at night when flames could be seen coming out the side exit.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros

Roomy, good mileage, rides nice

Cons

I don't know if it's just me, but the headrest seems fixed way forward, so I have to tilt the seat back a bit to be comfortable, not really a big deal though.

Kind Of Plain, But A Good Car — This the car that replaced the Olds. Nothing fancy, just a 4 door tan Malibu. I learned my lesson and drive this one nice when I end up driving it.

Motor issue

I Am Now A Ford Guy! — The car had Dexcol in it and eat the Head Gaskets! Car is now dead and sitting in the back Yard with a blown motor. GM Knows of the issue and has been suide over it and still has not made it a recall repair. But almost everyone who has a 2000 - 2004 is having the same issue. In 2005 GM changed the Headgaskets they where using to new ones that Dexcool dose not eat. Come on GM do a recall or continue to piss of your customer base and watch them go over seas on there car purchases.

Pros

Good daily driver with a bit of power behind it

Cons

Front Wheel Drive

25

'02 Chevy Malibu - My Take On It — Performance: Excellent front brakes, stock calipers are a bit weak though (single pistons), Acceleration is good (0-60 in about 8 seconds from a stop), though it came from Enterprise's rental fleet where they uptuned it to run on Mid-grade as well as giving it a much larger airbox and replacing the headgaskets for high performance ones. Cost of Ownership: gets about 240 miles on city, can get it to about 380 on the highway! Fun Factor: Hell yeah, front wheel drift
