CarGurus Overview
For 2002, Chevrolet continued its Astro LT, the luxury series of its mini-van model. The 2002 Astro LT came with a garage door opener, premium audio system with CD player, cloth seats, a power driver's seat, and separate audio controls for passengers in the rear. Leather seats, seven-passenger seating, and running boards were some of the options available.
2002 Chevrolet Astro LT owners say they love its flexible utility (for hauling lots of people or lots of stuff). Some report that, even on this luxury trim, the interior is cheaply made and rattles and comes apart easily. However, the steady stream of consumer complaints about major expensive repairs has all but dried up for 2002.
This overview covers the LT Passenger Van Extended trim only.
