A Car This Big Shouldnt Be Able To Do What It Does..... — Awesome!! A joy to drive. The roar from the V8. Sweet exhaust note. Loads of torque. Handles like a sports car. Seriously. Put the box into manual sports mode. Nice!! I still look back at it when I park up. I love it.

Still looks great with exceptional performance, ride and handling...

Cons

Nothing at all...

Bmw X5 3.0d — It's the 3.0 Diesel and it's great in torque, performance and fuel economical...handling is great too and still looks good after all these year having owned it from new till today. no regrets and it's a definite must have is you are ever shopping for a SUV that built tough, looks that still hold and keep and performance with the fuel economy...diesel's way to go.

sporty, cargo space, great handling for suv style

Cons

gas milage

Great Well Rounded Car — Performance is good for 3.0i, but definitely struggles when trying to accelerate on hills. Build quality is good. Some interior pieces on common areas such as door handles and steering wheel flake/chip, but overall had held up well. Gas mileage with city and commute driving has been @18mpg. Has been a great well rounded vehicle for commute, city, and snow.

Pros

Dawn wanted something German and all wheel drive, for our bad winters here.

Cons

If you don't have the money, but always buy a supplemental warranty.

We Love It And It Has Awesome Power!!! — Performance, the BMW X5 has awesome acceleration, braking, handling. Build Quality, German engineering at its best. Appearance, both interior and exterior styling are super sexy. Cost of Ownership, gas mileage, maintenance...it has a 20 gallon gastank, so cost around $60 USD or so to fill up, but you are going to get at least 400 mile on a full tank, so it actually last the week Fun Factor, the BMW X5 is awesome to drive!

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros

It's fun

Cons

Cost of maintenance

I Think It's Worth It. — It's a lifted station wagon that handles like a car, and costs roughly a kidney a year to maintain. It is also loud enough and quick enough to get you in trouble in about 10 seconds. The design is good enough where people think it's new, even though it's 8 years old.

Primary Use: Commuting to work

2002 X5 — Performance and handling are amazing, you can drive extremely high speeds with confidence and great control. On the down side, regular maintenance and check ups are required every few thousand miles Appearance is good, both inside and outside. is this car fun to drive? This car has presence! it makes you feel good just by sitting in it

The Perfect Family Car. — What car shall you buy when you have driven sports cars your whole life and all of a sudden must buy a family car. The family car was a completely new world for me, I still wanted everything a sports car has and at the same time the car had to be both practical and safe. My choice was, and still is the BMW X5 4.6iS.

X5 — LOVE this car - hate the rising gas prices This car is so sexy, fast, and fun; I can't find another vehicle I'd want. Other than normal BMW quirks, this car has been a dream. Maintenance is reasonable (it is still a luxury car). I love coming home to this car every time I'm away, and my passengers love it too... :)

Oasis Supersonic — This car was in near-perfect condition when I purchased it used from Carmax. It is beautiful inside and out. The gas mileage is reasonable considering the weight of the car. I can get 19/24 on a regular basis, even on regular unleaded (sorry, it's way to expensive for premium right now).
