Pros

Performance and space for all your stuff...pretty sweet.

Cons

Tire wear.

525i Sport Wagon — This sports wagon can haul he family, then tote the mail. The M package makes this car handle at any speed around any curve. I never thought I'd say this but...my station wagon rips! The only bad side is the aggressive camber settings wear the insides of the tires excessively.

Pros

Great handling and a solid feel.

Cons

Don't buy them new......I only paid 1/3 of what the car originally sold for.

The Only Car I Ever Had That Was This Much Fun To Drive Was My 1965 Corvette With Solid Lifters. — The car drives like a slot car.....very little lean and it never feels like it will get away from you. Acceleration is fine for me and on the highway, it doesn't even feel like you're moving. I have to pay attention as one time I had the car over 75 and didn't feel as though I was moving. I really like the 2 tone interior with the wood accents. The sport seats are very comfortable and the air conditioner is first rate. The Xenon headlamps are cool and I especially like the sport steering wheel as, in 2002 at least, they came from th e 'M' series and has the 'M' logo on the wheel. There are also some very nice amenities such as the memory seat (3 settings can be saved), the passenger mirror that automatically points downward when you go in reverse, the thigh support in the seat, emergency flashlight in the glove box that is kept charged when placed in the docking station, and the lights in the door that illuminate the ground when you open the doors.

Good Quick Luxury Family Car — quick, economical, handles well for big car, luxury, solid, good build quality never had a fault in three years go through tyres a bit though, a bit pricey to buy but pays off in long run.I have my moments of madness in it and it brings a smile to my face.

Pros

Lots of torque!

Cons

None!

You Should Try One...you'll Love It! — If you like a high class four door sedan and you don't want to pay yourself to a sickness, this is a car for you. It has good maneuverbility, good driving dynamics and it just looks great. Its shapes avoid time like a time machine...BMW has that special gift! Build quality is high from inside and outside. My own example is equipped with three liter straight six turbodiesel engine. With 193hp and 440Nm it has great acceleration and top speed...with a minor fuel consumption when compared to those benefits. And it just handles great! Maintenance cost are quite normal, except turbocharger and suspension. And fun factor...yes, this car is very fun to drive!

Best Car I Ever Owned. Car And Driver Gave It Its Highest Ratings In 2002, No Other Sedan Has Ever. — Handles great, goes for what it is. Looks sexy with minor mods. Not expensive, its cheap to maintine. Not boring to drive. Has its noises, but from driving it hard. Car is super fun to drive, only down fall, eats rear tires fast.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros

Great value for money!

Cons

Difficult to park due to it's large size.

Bmw 520i E39 Model Year 2002 — Great acceleration and engine sound, but high fuel consumption inside town. The car drives superbly at high speeds. One main problem that I face is that there are a lot of plastic parts that seem to break easily. Replacement of these parts can be very costly sometimes.

Bmw 525i — good gas mileage, badass interior and exterior, great performance, and is a great car to drive. Wheels look awesome on the car for being stock, and over all it is a bmw and is built with quality that only Germans can do....lol need I say any more about this?

Tons of room, awesome performance.

Cons

The tires tend to squeal......

Nice Family 4-door — Definitly the wolf in sheeps clothing. The 4.4L V8 is deathly quiet at idle with no exhuast tips visible. People think you are driving a family car, until you punch the gas and you instantly have 326 ft*lbs of torque at your disposal. Handles much much better than my firebird ever did, amazingly enough.
