Audi Tt 1.8t — Nice handling but back seats are only for design ... nobody can stay in the back :), very reliable, allways gas hungry but with a lot of resources and different mods that you may apply. Alot of chiptuning offers, it supports big wheels, quality materials Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

* — I just loved the original TT from the first I saw it on the road. Such a beautiful design. With the high belt line and low height it was so different from anything else on the road. Performance was so so, even with the top of the line 2.0 litre turbo 225hp version. Audi later came out with a higher power naturally aspirated model that eclipsed the 225, and we had one of those for a short time, too, but even that left something to be desired in terms of power and acceleration. But this car was art on wheels, and it was compact and super fun to drive on twisty country roads. I miss this car more than any I have ever owned, even more than the S4...although I do really miss the hp in the S. Maybe some day I'll own another TT... the new S or better yet the coming RS trim would be nice!

Audi Tt Tit — My audi TT is a fantastic car. of course i bought it with only 20,000 on it but have really not had many problems with it. There was a recall on them due to the gas tank would not register and there was a problem there where the fuel gauge would malfunction. The turbo sucks gas like no tomorrow, especially if driven how the car truly should be. It is a nimble, great handling car and it is quite a head turner. Mine is black on grey with a black top and it looks great. the styling is timeless and will be a true classic. The brakes, like all german cars give off a ton of brake dust which is my biggest complaint but is a simple fix. By far a great first car and i couldnt ask for anything more. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

ProsBeautiful German styling and handling. This car is a blast to drive and with the top down, awesome. Impressed by the relatively low maintenance costs and Audi service was exceptional. ConsNo cons. I love my car.

Love German Engineering. — Loved everything, disliked nothing. Reliable starting, handling. Exhaust has a great sound/growl when accelerating. Chose FWD because I do not drive it in winter so quattro wasn't necessary. Hard tonneau cover also included with car as well as valet key.

I Love It, Does Everything I Need. Fast, Good Looking Car. — Little bit of turbo lag, but after it kicks in will really rip. brakes good. Handles AMAZING! good build quality lots of nice little luxeries for its year. 25 mpg average, and requires 91 octane fuel. Overall good little car if you dont need to take much with you. ProsIt's a classic, lovved it. ConsI wouldn't say avoid it unless you expect trouble free motoring for years and years. maintenance required.

Well Worth Buying, Especially These Days. — Performance - quickest 1.8 on the road, handling was great breaking great. Build Q - was ok , needed a few pricy repairs around the 4 - 5 year / 60- 70k miles mark, electrics not quite up to scratch. Appearance - excellent, design, award winner. Cost of ownership - relatively low due to low tax (1.8) and insurance 123.ie and quite economical if you know how to drive. Fun - 10 outa 10 to drive. Primary Use: Commuting to work

Great Car, Worth Trying Out If You Want Something "different". — Good design, catchy...love the all-wheel drive excellent handling! Interior and exterior are both great quality. Cost of ownership is a little high since the dealership kills you on all parts. Some parts are available through the after market but not most. It is definitely a fun car to drive and although I bought it as a winter car... I may plan to keep it for longer. Primary Use: Commuting to work |
