Good Car — The turbo ensures good acceleration and sounds cool. The handling is good. The best things are the ride quality and build quality, good german engineering. I like the apperance too nice interior. The fuel consumption is average, 35 mpg ish. Primary Use: Commuting to work

Proscomfort, build quality Consemission problems

Good Motor — only problem seems to be the oxygen sensors. other than that love it. performance is not the best but it has plenty of toys. was a little expensive but worth the few extra pounds. i would like to buy the higher powered model as my next motor. recommend to anyone

Vw Golf For Life — to total my words, vw golf is the best hot hatch in the all world, i mean you get from it what you want from any hatch bac car and more: cool appereance, powerfull engine, great handling and adrinalen pump when you step on it ( super burnouts). its prices are good in compare with the other cars from the same level and the dealer is good but a littel costy. i will always drive vw golf inthe future but it will be a GTI or a R32.

ProsVW build quality and brilliant performance. Consgive me time, i'll think of something!!

51 Gt Tdi — 51 plate Golf GT TDI - the quick economic diesil monster. Wheel in 4 corners means this car drives like a dream, acceleration pushes you back in the seat and you can chuck this baby about without worrying if you'll end up in a field. Diesel powered means it's super efficient too - Bounus!!

ProsGreat looking car! ConsMechanical failures every other day.

Vw Mk4 1.4l 16v — I bought this car in 2005 with 107,000km (105,000 on the papers) on the clock. It is an incredible looking car in good condition, but the mechanical relibility is pathetic! I've driven the car 40,000km since I bought it and it breaks down more often then I care to recall. I've spent more money fixing than what a trade-in value is worth so I'm stuck with it. The service from VW was also a reason I'll never buy another VW ever again.

Proslooks, performance, handling, fuel economy Consexpensive to maintain, pick up

Its Worth It — its an amazing car, and a wonderful drive. not the best pick up but u feel the kick once u hit 120kmph n it goes all the way to 260, that shows on the meter. perfect handling, minimum vibration, great suspensions, n the millage is an icing on the cake. a fun car to drive, specially when u wanna corner at crazy speeds ;) but the only drawback is it really hurts ur butt in various ways when u need to take it to the shop, german afterall ... but its worth it

01' Vw Golf Tdi — My girlfriend has this car and I must say that it is much more enjoyable than I thought it would be. I think it has some cool factor just for being a diesel and it is pretty peppy. They did have an issue with the intake manifold becoming restricted which made the car seem like it had transmission issues but the problem was easily resolved.

Prosnice looks, great gas mileage, strong build Conselectrical misfirings - lots of them

2001 Vw Golf — Despite the electrical misfits of this VW year (2001) model, I love my car and will drive it to the ground! I would buy another VW, as this is my second one already. It's affordable, it's gas efficient, and it's comfortable. Did I mention it's fun to drive, too? Especially if it's a manual, like mine is. |
