Toyota Celica 2001 Gt — Everything was great about this car. Only complaint would be regarding the rear hatch hydraulics as they wore out very quickly Gas milage is very good. Car corners very well with good performance tires. Blind spots in the sides due to small rear windows and large panels

The Best Celica Ever — fun car to drive, great performance and gas mileage. This is one car Toyota never should've stopped making. Scion TC is a very poor replacement, especially since the Supra died along with the Celica. On the tuner side, the celica is a rare participant, but when you do see one at a tuner meet or show, they really stand out from the rest.

Great Car! — The car handles great, has enough power to be fun. It's not for tall people however since there isn't much head room. Not a family car either.

Pros

Great gas mileage, built in Japan.

Cons

Tough to haul things in the back.

Worth Every Penny I Paid, Too Bad Toyota Quit Making Them! — Toyota built this car as a sports car. Unless you bought the GT-S, you got yourself a economy car. Don't get me wrong, you can get all the tickets you want and it goes well over 100. It does handle like it is on rails. I upgraded mine with Scion tC wheels and the lower wider profile tires definitely help with the cornering.

Pros

Nice looks, awesome gas mileage, great handling.

Cons

small interior, maintenance cost

My Celica — 1)performance: The GT celica looks fast but don't be fooled it has the same 1zz engine in your mom's corolla so don't push it, messing ABS but the braking is pretty decent "don't lock your wheels will cost you", handling is what makes this car amazing in my point of view I have taken same sharp corners at 90+ it will hold it. I have the Auto transmission which is a pain if you like to drag. 2) build quality: toyota's are knows for reliability and I have to say I agree in a sense my car has 120K miles on and it is still running smoothly, repairs are within the normal range a little bit more expensive than it's american competitors though. there are some issues though with windows squeaking and rattling in bumps. 3) appearance: in my point of view is what gave the celica it's appeal, the car looks very stylish and the interior is in proportion I love the sport styled seats. 4) cost of ownership: gas mileage is amazing on this car if i am not pressing and holding on the gas i usually get in the range of 30-36 mpg with the best being 40 mpg. cost of maintenance is pretty high both on labor and parts. 5) this car is very fun to drive it looks nice, cruises nicely. THERE IS AN AGE LIMITATION THOUGH 16-25.

Pros

couldnt afford insurance on anything else when I bought it.

Cons

dont avoid it.

Great Car! — Not that fastest car in a straight line. But handles superbly. Put the right turbo on there for 260whp and this car is an absalute beast! Still not the fastest in a straight line but alot faster then alot of other cars out there... I freakin love it and am lookin to buy and Celica GT-S for a daily driver!

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Celicas — I basically love this car....if I were to go buy it today I would get the Tsunami version for sure. The only real downfall to mine is the engine. Wish it was faster. If you don't have the money for the Tsunami version then opt for the GTS TRD versions.

Its Amazing — I liked the sporty feel without the high price of a high end sports car. it really made me a happy camper to show off my car to friends and family. I really recommend this car to any safe and responsible driver.

Pros

It looks like the Batmobile in black, simple to learn on, fun to drive.

Cons

Easily totalled.

Na Na Na Na Na Na Na Na... Celica! — I only had this car for four days, so my "quick take"is actually gonna be quick. While I had it, the car was great - I didn't have time to have any problems before I totalled it. It looked awesome - I wanted a Supra, but this is my economy-priced consolation. I bought this six-speed without knowing how to drive a stick - and learned in 15 minutes when I had to drive to work immediately after purchase. It's an easy drive that just makes sense, and it looks great. But it's a girl car, and men, you will be laughed at if you buy it.
