Proshandle's beautifully and the 1.8 20VT is really quick... Consthere is no reason that i have found to avoid this car

If You Have The Chance To Drive Or Own One Take It Look Out For The 1.8 20vt — I love everything about the car the speed the look altho i would like to make some improvements to that. Breaks are fantastic but do fade if you work them hard. Can be ecnomical if you dont drive like you stole it. Primary Use: Commuting to work |

2001 Seat Leon — Performance: 180BHP 1.8T is fast once you are in the turbo range. 6 Speed gearbox is nice to use. Brakes great, handles solidly, steering is weighted better than Skoda Octavia vRS (previous car) Build Quality: Very good. It is VAG Appearence: Looks good. Nice colour. Cost of Ownership: Driven carefully, 40MPG Fun Factor: Great for a blast. Subtle, yet fast Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.) |

Nice Everyday Car But You Can Also Have Fun Init. — Very nice car. Quick, reliable and also on the motorway can be economical. Standard at the moment as not had it long. But will do a few things in the new year. Just hope the gearbox lasts. As it will not be a cheap fix if it goes wrong. Primary Use: Commuting to work |

Good Base Car To Modify , Practical And Defo A Lot Of Fun — i love driving this car, its a fun car to drive, good handling, good mid range power, braking is wicked although its always late and short with me lol, the brakes squeak at the mo so it sounds like a touring car lol, petrol disappears real quick, coz i drive it on the limit mostly , the 20V engine sucks it in and spits it back out pretty fast, oh well, its a small price to pay lol |

ProsSolid ConsEngine was too small (1.9 SDI)

Doesn't Only Look Good It Is Good. — Amazing car to drive in especially with all the upgrades, chipped engine, lowered suspension, 18" rims and the multi media DVD audio system. Looks are way better than any VW Golf made and even better than the Seat Leon II :-) Primary Use: Commuting to work |

My New Leon Cupra Turbo — I have always wanted one of these. Being part of the VW - Audi group, the Leon is a well built car. The version i own is the Cupra 20V Turbo, it has the same 1.8 turbocharged engine for the Audi TT and is very responsive and fun to drive. 0 to 60 turns up in around 6.5 secs and 100... not that i've been that fast init yet is within the magic 10 seconds to. Although being a fast car, it is a very easy going town car to just get you around with just a subtle reminder of the turbo noise under the bonnet. I like the way that the interia is both pratical and sporty at the same time, even the rear seats resemble those recaros you would find in a Cossie and the dash borad is layed out around the driver, but not in away to exclueds the passengers. I have found a really good bargin example of this car; one owner from new, full Seat service history and only 37k on the clock and all for £4,600. This car easily beats a Golf GTi hands down any day of the week, well recommended for all types of driver. |
