Pros

Too many positives to list!!!

Cons

Not worth mentioning the negatives!!!  Not many at all which pale in comparison to the positives.

2001 Pontiac Grand Prix Gt — The 2001 Pontiac Grand Prix GT. This is a transporter that lives up to its domestic heritage and more. Domestics have been known for their power and size - lots of passenger space and trunk space. All the creature comforts a man needs to become one with his machine and ergonomics to keep up with the Europeans. Good styling and great looking to rival the Japanese and European competition. Handling is quite responsive and acceleration is quite good - with the potential of adding a supercharger. The Series II 3.8L powerplant has the ability to be efficient on gas mileage if one is able to resist the urge to race between destinations with or without TCS aka Launch Control. Winter handling is improved with traction control and anti-lock brakes, however this front wheel drive like so many others has a tendency to understeer on icy roads when exceeding the safe speed limit - also the low ground clearance makes this a good candidate to retire for the winter months. I'd own a second one of these should the opportunity arise - this second one with a Ram Air Hood Scoop & Intake Package and a Supercharger.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Pros

All the goodies, great looks!

Cons

It's silly, but the radio antenna blows.

Gonna Shoot Ya Right Down - Off Of Your Feet — WELL, She's not the same as my Small Block Pickup, but I love this car. Lots of power, smooth as can be, and great looking. Fully loaded, leather interior, heated seats, heads up display, moon roof, Bose Sound system, and a wonderful, wonderful deep blue color. When I bought her, the door handle had been popped as per a robbery, but that was a simple fix - thank god the robbers didn't bust the clips. Gas mileage, well it could be a little better - I usually hit 23-25 MPG with a heavy heavy foot, but that's much better than my pickup got - believe me! As per fun factor - I look forward to getting up for work to let her run on the highway!

Pros

2 Doors, sporty, good looking, Leather!, Pretty easy to work on and Modify.

Cons

FWD, Naturally aspirated, it's not paid for yet...

Pontiac Grand Prix Gt — Love just about everything about it, except for the fact that it is not supercharged and that it's FWD. Acceleration is decent, will be getting a Turbocharger and Race Built Tranny (Hopefully) soon. Brakes will be upgraded as well as suspension. The appearance will be drastically improved once the cash comes around...

Can run well on sleet, rain or slick conditions, and has a so so mpg when you dont have a lead foot

Amazing Car — Comfterable dailey driver , hard to find aftermarket parts for it , but the hunt makes it that much more rewarding , 3.8L v6 has adaquate power and amazing reliability and durability very apealing appearance wise , in my opinion , i have had comments that doing up a "family sedan" is lame but how many grocery getter hondas r out there?

Cons

cost alot to drive

My Baby — This car is all around awesome. It's great in any weather and goes fast if you want it to or slow around town. The only downfall is the low gas milage and having to put premium gas in it. Other then it being expensive to drive i cant say anything bad about the car.

Grand Prix Gt Coupe — Power, performance, sexy look, lots of room, great on gas, not too expensive to maintain when thru dealer services. I love to take fast hard turns in this car. Susension is amazing and must be experienced to appreciate. Would recommend this cr to any guy that wants to flex hard.

Best Car I Have Ever Had! — I love this car! It has such good performance the acceleration in it is great couldn't ask for anything more. It was cheaper in Hutch so we got it there instead of Wichita. I love driving this car and having the sunroof up and drving everywhere. Best Car EVER! I Love It

Strong, Fast And Fun But Problematic — Have had my car for a few months now and have seen myself spend alot of saturday mornings at my mechanics shop. The car gives you the feel of power and sport car like performance and is also a full size sedan. Faults are weight. (car is heavy!) Electric and minor mechanical problems like super cheap radio display never works, window swicth, tail lights condense, tie rod ends and altenator.

If I Could Afford A New Car, Would Trade It In In A Heart Beat — I have had so much trouble with this car. Before I had it a full year, 9 months, I had to take it to Pontiac to have a new (re built) transmission put in. It took 6 weeks to get my car back. Then almost a year later, more transmission problems. According to the dealer they called in the Pontiac rep. and he didn't have a clue. THen a few months after the warranty expires I had to take it in for more transmision work. Now I am getting ready to take it in for more transmission work. And the car seems to eat tires. The orginial set got less than 20,000 miles and right now at 99,000, I am on my 4th set of tires. I have tires rotated and balanced every 3-4000 miles.
