Prosstrong accelration and good for hauling around my hommies. ConsBad build quality, bad brakes, and a touchy transmission.

Good Car For The Money But Don't Expect Anything More. — Great acceleration for what it is. Ran a 15.7 at the track (quarter mile) Not the best in build quality thats for sure. Looks k though. Great car for the money, around 25 mpg average. Fun to drive and fun to harass V-6 Mustangs and eclipse.

ProsCheap to keep on the road, haven't had too many problems with it. Good mpg, not a bad stock stereo. Easy to drive anywhere except in deep snow or off road. ConsHave been told it looks like a grandpa car. Not the fastest car.

A Good First Car — I got my Alero from my dad when he got a new car. I have driven it for 5 years now and I have only had to put in a new alternator in it and it has over 200,000 miles. It doesn't have much power under the hood but the fuel economy is pretty good, average about 25mpg. Primary Use: Commuting to work

ProsIt would make a good starter car , for a first car for someone Consthe spoiler gets in the way of the back window because the back end sits up to high

01 Alero — not a bad little car , but not as good as my second car , its got some flaws but most cars do , maybe its just my preference on cars or maybe its actually not justt me but , the motor is strong only trouble with that is that its a v6 and take a good chunk of change for gas Primary Use: Family transportation

Prosfine car with some baggage but is easy to love after a couple repairs. but not all aleros can be like this Conspoor quality loud cheap but is practical

Practical Coupe With Not Much Power — basic car with a 2.4 L four cylinder engine. rattles a lot kind of a money pit pooooooooor quality and descent styling. gas mileage is fine but could be better due to lack of power. there is really nothing fun about an over priced gm coupe.. Primary Use: Commuting to work

Loving The Look & The Speed — All around good car; fairly fast acceleration, not many squeaks or rattles, not many repairs needed either! love the look, ok gas mileage but could be better. pretty fun to drive, but probably nothing compared to something a little sportier. ProsDon't buy a General Motors Vehicle!! ConsGM Makes it!!

Piece Of Crap!! — Very poorly made. It chews threw wheel bearing like you would not believe and there very expensive to replace. All kinds of little stupid things break on them. Like cruize control buttons, heater buttons, and fan relay switches. This was a know prob with these cars as well as the Grand Am's. Lousy car don't buy one. Primary Use: Commuting to work

ProsFUN, FUN, FUN ConsExpensive parts (not really sure why)

I Would Love Another One!! — LOVED this car, hated to see it go. It was fully loaded (except sunroof). Great handling, but needed some expensive upkeep. Fuel pump alone was $500. Gas mileage was GREAT. Had great sound system in it. Loved everything about it but the repair bills. Primary Use: Family transportation |
