Too much fun!

Cons

Wish it had more cargo space top-down.  I hate that it gets all my attention lately with the warm weather.

Fun Roadster That Becomes A Coupe! — The Benz that goes topless. All the niceties of a high end coupe like perforated leather seats, heated seats, dual climate control, power everything with the bonus of being a top down summer roadster that turns into a beautiful hard top coupe in 20 seconds. Still looks brand new after 10 years and drives like it left the show room.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

For A 1st Generation Slk It's Great And The Newer Ones Are Even Better....and Faster. — I took a 3 week trip and covered 5000 miles this summer. The mileage best was 29.95 mpg. When I returned home I needed brakes but 110,000 is pretty good for the original brakes and it was only the front brakes.

The Lower Form Of Luxury Car. — This is a Soft Top convertible. Even though popular with the ladies this car is indeed a deathtrap and hard to drive. The six cylinder is fast at 2k RPM at 70 MPH, has automatic five gears and manual sport option. Even all of that the sluggish powered steering and turn angles counter balance the maneuverable purpose of the car. The Mercedes itself this model you should stay away. Low rear viability, arched up rear, huge 27 degree angle blindspots of the convertible top and small side mirrors do not help. For its size, the trunk space is small while the smallish engine gets more room. Speaker quality is imbalanced when you include a small bose box sub-woofer with out Bose speakers. Fun, if you want to drive aggressively. But even the windows would not help you. It is a small car that makes you feel small inside.

Amazing Drive — Very good car specially in summer. Ladies love it. 2300 cc supercharge is an amazing engine. Even with the hardtop roof folded in the boot, it still have alot of space. It was the first hard top convertable made. Spot on Car.

The Quick Steering And 4-wheel Disc Brakes Makes Up For My Slow Reflexes. — Besides the great looks, (and it's black), it rides great even for long distances. Being a sports car it surprised me that if I kept my foot out of it I get 26 mpg. People wonder how I can afford this car and I tell them I only paid $13,000 for it even though it looks way more expensive.

Wow — Great Car - Brabus edition. I have changed quite a few things on it but the base car is great. New roll bars, new grill etc. Blast to drive. Have the rear wind break - drive it near freezing temps with top down

A Blast To Drive — I love the fact that it's a hard-top convertible and the top goes right in the trunk. It's very fast and fun to drive. A little bit on the expensive side when it comes to gas. Oh and the ladies love it!!
