Cons

im having some issues with the transmision

Nice — all stock but it does take only suprem for gas so that sucks... it rides smooth and its well built and it knows how to take a hit. it has a nice sporty look to it and the interior is really clean

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Clk 430 — Good acceleration, amazing handling, braking that has saved my life many times (So performance is excellent). Brilliant build quality. The styling is nothing to be overly excited by but the interior is cool. It costs quite a lot to run (but you didn't buy a 4.3L V8 for fuel economy).

Cons

Buggy COMAND 2.0 system, likes to drink fuel.

Perfect Blend Of Sensibility And Craziness — My second AMG and 1st with a V8 engine... Sounds more like an old school american muscle car than a refined German hotrod! Pure sex.

Joey — I have loved my 430 coupe from the moment I laid eyes on it. It always put a smile on my face and was great to drive, especially on the open road. The masculine "bring it on buddy" styling for 2001 still looks great and I think, better than the current more subdued model. Despite some small nuisance repairs, I'd recommend it to anyone who wants a solid, sporty car to drive in the city or on the highway. The only reason I don't have it today is because I got my hands on a CLK55 AMG!!!!!

The styling of this car is perfect. People think its brand new.

Cons

It's not the CLK55

I Plan To Keep This Car For Many Years To Come. — The CLK430 is a great car. It is very fun to take down tight twisty roads. People often comment on how smooth it is. If you can deal with a few minor squeaks here and there its not terrible for maintnence.

It's a Benz!

Cons

Gas mileage.

The Affordable Beast! — Interior could be better. Wish the headlights wouldn't keep fading. The turbo button does wonders, but you can see the gas gauge start moving down. Gas mileage sucks in city, but good on the highway. Love the car, couldn't be happier.

Well Built Mercedes Muscle Car And A Blast To Drive. Fun Factor Is 10/10 — Absolutely amazing car. I love every minute I drive it and find myself saying "I love my car" over and over. Having owned over 50 cars, I would say this is my favourite. The fit and finish is very good and above all the performance and sounds are intoxicating. Despite the power, the mileage is not bad as I am getting 25 mpg.

Clk 430 -- I'm Getting Another!! Great Car!! — The car is amazing. With a V-8 engine the pick-up is massive. Cars on the road are often surprised with what a pick-up CLKs can pull off. The interior is very basic, but it is like the Japanese cars in that respect. Very little breaks down. I particularly love the three pointed star on the hood. It really makes the car fun to drive, looking down at a target on the road.
