The back seats are amazing.
You can take all seats out or leave in the select  that you want.
The center seat slides over to the middle.
When fixed and in good running condition, it's an amazing car.
Good power, lots of space yet compact!

It seems like it always needs to be fixed.

Excellent Family Car When Not In The Shop. — I bought my MPV from an auction dealer so it wasn't in top condition, but I got a good deal on it. I knew it would have problems but I didn't think this many. I may have gotten one that was treated badly. So far I love it when its not in the shop. I will re-review it when it is in tip top condition. Otherwise I stick to my reviews as of now.

2001 Mazda MPV ES Review

Spacious, comfy.

I'd avoid US models because of seats. European model has all separated seats, which could be removed easily.

// — My MPV's heart is 2.0 and LPG is installed, so at the summer time with AC swithed on feels that it's AC takes good part of engine's power. But over all braking and handling are good enough. Build quality is good but I missing heated leather seats. Especially during the winter its really cold but thanks god real leather warms quick . No unussual repares were maid One front bearing and front silent blocks were changed after a year I drove it. Runing on LPG makes traveling cheaper. Traveling is comfy enough only acces to third row of the seats a bit complicated when 2nd row of the seats are loaded. Over all thinking of a family van it's nice and comfy. I like it!

a bit more power would be nice

Zoom - Zoom — Had the van since January 2002, drove it 234 000 km, and still rides like new!

bought one because:

Cheap! and Cheaper to fix than a Subaru. But you cant beat a Subaru. It was hard finding a Subaru in the price range we had that wasn't completely run into the ground. We found an MPV and are happy with our purchase and have some money left over.
