Pros

Sharp handling. Good looks. Comfortable interior. Great AC/heater assembly. Fully customizable.

Cons

Lacks HP, poor mileage, crappy paint coating that easily scuffs, no drainage ports in the bed of the truck.

Great Truck, Good Looking, And As Reliable As It Gets. — 2001 Mazda B3000 SE7 extended cab, box on the back. Silver with black and gun-metal grey highlights. In the works... Pioneer 200W stereo with a 250gig flash capability. Chrome updated interior with black. Soon to install a body flush mounted gas intake. K&N filters throughout. Soon to add a cold air intake system into the hood.

Transmission went out at 125k, suspension was sloppy, and didn't have much power.

Good Get Around Or Work Truck — Bought in Hawaii for a get around vehicle. Didn't have any problems till the tranny went. Heard its a problem for those models. Otherwise pretty stock truck. Had a toolbox to store everything. Easy to maintain and find parts. Power steering made some funny sounds.

Pros

Comfortable and stylish for our needs

Cons

Gearbox have to be overhauled after 100 000km.

The Best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! — Performance is very okay.... No repairs was needed to body of car, only mud flaps fell of on 1st off-road venture. Appearence is okay. Consumption could be better. Fun to drive. Gearbox does not last very long due to factory neglegence. We built our own camping rails and that takes us and the family everywhere.

Pros

A great first car minus the gas mileage.

Cons

The gas mileage was terrible

65

Great First Car — I loved this truck. It was what I learned to drive in and my first car. Unfortunately it got about 10-12 miles per gallon. It was the standard 3.0 V6 with the automatic transmission. I beat the crap out of that thing and it still runs with about 145,000 miles. I mean I did burnouts in it and hit really steep speed bumps at 45 to see how high I would go. It could have used a bit more power, but I guess if it did the gas mileage would be a lot worse.

Pros

Small Usefull Pickup

Cons

2x4 and very light, bad in rain and snow

25

Decent Starter Truck — Good pickup in 1st and 2nd gears. Lacks power in the uphill, needs 3rd gear for most hills. Not to shabby in maintenance, but it could get better gas mileage for what it is. Decently fun to drive for a 2x4.

Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Cons

no back seat

25

Get A Ranger Or B400 With A Backseat — love the truck, the engine is great, wish i had a back seat, ever since i put the rims on its rides alot rougher, but once i do my 3/3 drop ill fix the ride and that willl make it ride smoother

Pros

Build quality and reliability.

Cons

If any fuel economy may suffer with a big load on i think

45

Great Has Auto Air Steer Easy To Drive Dual Airbags — Very reliable, more comfort than Toyota Hilux, and much cheaper. Fuel economy is about average for this type of vehicle, plus its an automatic, so it uses a little more petrol. Good to drive as far as 1 tonners from Thailand go but had i had the money i wouldve bought a Ford Falcon 1tonner or Holden VY 1 tonner but they were too expensive and everything was an option, the Mazda had everything built into the price. And the Bravo is a good deal 2nd hand too now as theyve depreciated a bit like all vehicles do, but i bought mine new. Cheers : D
