ProsBuild quality and reliability. ConsIf any fuel economy may suffer with a big load on i think

Great Has Auto Air Steer Easy To Drive Dual Airbags — Very reliable, more comfort than Toyota Hilux, and much cheaper. Fuel economy is about average for this type of vehicle, plus its an automatic, so it uses a little more petrol. Good to drive as far as 1 tonners from Thailand go but had i had the money i wouldve bought a Ford Falcon 1tonner or Holden VY 1 tonner but they were too expensive and everything was an option, the Mazda had everything built into the price. And the Bravo is a good deal 2nd hand too now as theyve depreciated a bit like all vehicles do, but i bought mine new. Cheers : D Primary Use: Commuting to work

ProsA great first car minus the gas mileage. ConsThe gas mileage was terrible

Great First Car — I loved this truck. It was what I learned to drive in and my first car. Unfortunately it got about 10-12 miles per gallon. It was the standard 3.0 V6 with the automatic transmission. I beat the crap out of that thing and it still runs with about 145,000 miles. I mean I did burnouts in it and hit really steep speed bumps at 45 to see how high I would go. It could have used a bit more power, but I guess if it did the gas mileage would be a lot worse. ProsSmall Usefull Pickup Cons2x4 and very light, bad in rain and snow

Decent Starter Truck — Good pickup in 1st and 2nd gears. Lacks power in the uphill, needs 3rd gear for most hills. Not to shabby in maintenance, but it could get better gas mileage for what it is. Decently fun to drive for a 2x4. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

Built Like A Tonka — has been a fantasic truck, taken off road since the day it was brand new. it has power right from the push of the pedal, cheap enough to run in manual form, not in auto. its been the best fun on 4 wheels in a long time. Primary Use: Sport/fun (spirited driving, track racing, off-roading, etc.)

ProsComfortable and stylish for our needs ConsGearbox have to be overhauled after 100 000km.

The Best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! — Performance is very okay.... No repairs was needed to body of car, only mud flaps fell of on 1st off-road venture. Appearence is okay. Consumption could be better. Fun to drive. Gearbox does not last very long due to factory neglegence. We built our own camping rails and that takes us and the family everywhere.

ProsSharp handling. Good looks. Comfortable interior. Great AC/heater assembly. Fully customizable. ConsLacks HP, poor mileage, crappy paint coating that easily scuffs, no drainage ports in the bed of the truck.

Great Truck, Good Looking, And As Reliable As It Gets. — 2001 Mazda B3000 SE7 extended cab, box on the back. Silver with black and gun-metal grey highlights. In the works... Pioneer 200W stereo with a 250gig flash capability. Chrome updated interior with black. Soon to install a body flush mounted gas intake. K&N filters throughout. Soon to add a cold air intake system into the hood. |
